This was the first time Gao Guang had seen a cafeteria where you could order food to be cooked on the spot. Just on this point alone, it seemed a bit too extravagant, even for an officers' cafeteria.

On Gao Guang's plate was a massive burger, accompanied by a cola, and also a bowl of mushroom cream soup. His tastes weren't so particular; he enjoyed both Chinese and Western cuisine.

Ray's lunch was also quite simple. He had two pieces of bread, a salad, and a serving of roast pork neck.

But Laura's lunch was rather extravagant. She ordered a steak, a baked potato, and nothing else.

The fat content in Laura's steak was quite high. Generally, girls tend to avoid fatty meat or, in fact, any food that's too high in fat, but Laura wasn't one of them. She specifically asked the chef for the fattiest cut of steak.
