Chapter 4

"Chris!!" he roared, We all flinched hearing his voice. A big gasp left my lips which earned me everyone's attention. his eyes snapped to mine, I took a step back. He kept staring at me, I couldn't help but feel so relieved just looking into his grey orbs which is weird because it should have frightened me otherwise. To say he was just handsome would be an insult. He had that look of a Greek god himself descended to the earth and making girls like me all gaping at him till the point I make a fool out of myself. I mentally cursed myself for thinking about him at this moment. He then broke the stare and went back inside shutting the door angrily.

" I tried to mind-linked you, Adonis.." Chris, Sam's mate said walking inside and closing the door before us, making the rest of their speech inaudible to us...

" shit, that was scary" Sam rolled her eyes.

"Let's not wait till I get fine, we will leave tomorrow," Della said "I don't think I can take the punishment receiving from him too"

" why not Now..." the moment he left I was almost trembling from his looks.

I was never afraid of anyone in my pack, I was always the stubborn one. my parents treated me like something so precious and were overprotective which made everyone treat me the same way. Being the alpha's daughter everyone pampered me. They thought I was the spoilt brat along with my friends. Which was entirely different, they didn't know the real me.

Minutes later Chris opened the door to directly face sam he stared at her as he came out, different emotions playing in his eyes, then turned and looked at me " he wants you to go in"

I almost dropped my mouth to the ground " me? Why me?".

He looked at me as if it isn't obvious. "Why not you? If our Alpha wants to meet you, then that's it. No further questions. Am I clear? Now you don't want to make him angry. It's not a pretty sight to see."

" no she's not going alone " Sam butted in.

At this point he became a little furious " don't mess with our alpha, no one goes against his command. we won't hesitate a second to cut his or her throat."

I Immediately looked at Sam and knew she was hurt, it was written visibly on her face but she shook it off

" and no one mess with us, even we won't hesitate to kill someone the Elders call mate," she said the word mate with sarcasm.

" feisty... " Chris said with equal sarcasm " so do you think you can fight a whole pack.. oh wait can you even fight me?"

There was hurt in her eyes, she looked away. He mocked the definition of mate ever since we first met. But that was not exactly why she was behaving this way, Something was wrong with her I thought.

" Sam I..." I was cutting off when the door was again opened and the alpha came outside taking furious steps in my way.

He stood before me and bore into my eyes fuming, then caught my arm and dragged me inside his room. My hand was almost burning from his hold both bitter and sweet, I bet this might be his gentle way of treating a girl.

He pushed me into the couch. He lowered up to my face, as I was rubbing my arm due to pain.

He grabbed my chin forcing me to look at him when I paid no attention to him

" did he not tell you that I wanted to see you? " he asked. "Or are you deaf" My temper was slowly flaring up, as to why he was treating me like this.. ahh he thought we were 'Rogues'. I tried to push his hand off but that was impossible.

" don't.." he said. It was paining so bad that my eyes started to dwell. No one in my pack even dared to look at me and here he is.

I saw regret in his eyes for a mini second but then again it was quickly replaced with anger.

he left my chin and walked to his table-turning away from me

" tell me why are you here?" He asked me.

Why am I here what does he mean by that? I didn't know how to answer him. So I did what Sam told me to.. kept quiet.

" I'm asking you something god dammit!!" He roared to which I flinched spontaneously. "Are you dumb too."

" you have got some nerves not to answer me after breaking into my territory." he took big steps and within seconds he was near me.

Now his eyes were grey against pitch black, I knew his wolf took over. He grabbed my hair

"Do you think I won't go hard on you just because you're a woman?" He laughed darkly " I know how to make you speak, darling."

I felt a tingling sensation in my stomach by his endearment only for that to turn into fear when his eyes turned intense grey for microseconds then shifted back into his normal grey ones.

" Chris!! Christopher" he shouted.

Within seconds Chris came into our room " Adonis...wha--"

He didn't let Chris talk and " sent them down... IMPRISON!! them."

Chris looked down at me, tears were rolling down my face partly due to the pain he was causing on my hair and because I couldn't say anything.

" Adonis, I don't thi--" Chris was again cut off.

" Chris! don't you dare say something? Go, bring them" He glared

" You will open your mouth to everything I ask and I know how to make you do "

Chris hesitated a moment " what are you waiting for? You go get the others, I'm taking her ."

With that, he pulled me out of his room, then through the hall and out of his house. Now the entire population outside stopped talking or doing whatever they were doing and paid their attention towards us.
