With her eyes going round, Phantomflake made an 'you-got-to-be-kidding-me' face at the flying creature.

Nathan grabbed her by her neck. "Don't play tricks with me, Phantomflake." Nathan's cold voice reverberated inside the room, his eyes burning with rage.

But Phantomflake just smirked at him, pressing her hands against his chest, her fingers teasing him. "You can't kill me, Nate. Just admit it. You've already fallen for me."

With one swift move, Phantomflake pulled his shirt, closing their gaps as she crushed her lips against his lips. Surprisingly, Nathan just found himself responding to her. He lost! He couldn't resist her.

Day Ninety-Four…

Veronica charged toward Jane, holding a hard object. She thought Jane was hurting Nathan so she wanted to protect him by hitting Jane.

However, before she could touch her, Nathan immediately flipped Jane onto the bed as he wrapped her in his arms in a protective embrace.

Veronica ended up hitting Nathan's back with the hard metal tray because he used his body to shield Jane.

"Oh no! Nate!" Veronica gasped in surprise when the metal tray landed on Nathan's back. "I'm sorry!" She dropped the tray to the floor, feeling worried about Nathan. "Are you hurt?"

Then she glared at Jane. She was supposed to be the one getting hit by Veronica, not Nathan.

'Why did he protect her?' She gritted her teeth as she gave Jane a deathly glare.

Meanwhile, Nathan turned to look at Veronica, his eyes were as cold as the winter snow. He was displeased by Veronica's action.
