Rasheedah Prioleau

After three years in prison without trial, Amullette is given the opportunity for parole if she agrees to raise a stolen child named Mikaya, as her own. Another condition of parole is marriage to a high-ranking soldier of the Universal. As fate would have it, her selected spouse is her ex-fiancé, Admiral Semaj Kroan. Adjusting to her new life is easier than she expected as she falls in love with Admiral Kroan and adores the little girl the Universal has asked her to raise. However, as Amullette and Kroan begin to build a beautiful life together they risk everything to get Mikaya back where she truly belongs.

She picked up the tablet and scrolled through the selections as Kroan had shown her. She picked several programs and previewed them before getting bored and turning it off, deciding to go outside of the house. She walked from the holo-tech house to the holo-tech river and down to the edge of the pier. Taking a seat she let her feet dangle in the water. The water felt crisp and cool. She stood up peeling off the dress she wore. 


Jumping in feet first, she enjoyed the delicious coolness of the water. She let the river take her adrift around the full perimeter of the holo-tech paradise. Everything was perfect and beautiful. When the river brought her back to the pier, she could feel herself catching a little chill. She swam to the pier and climbed up. Taking a seat she put her dress back on. The warmth of the holo-tech sun was working to warm her up. She closed her eyes taking in a deep breath she let it out, counting to three in her mind.
