We sat together the next morning at the small table that came with the house, legs fixed, and ate quietly. The entire first day I was afraid that I was going to see Sovereign Rinalyah. However, I did not see her that day or for the entirety of the next six months. 


Mack, Kalon , and I fell into a routine that helped the time pass swiftly. We woke up, ate, went to work, came home, and made food. Mack cleaned up while I helped Kalon  with letters and small words. We were lost in our new lives, making friends sparingly and getting through the day-to-day. Every weekend a traveling market came through and set up on the colony for a day of fun and good food. Kalon  made friends with a young girl a year older than his seven and they went everywhere together.
