the sound echoed round the Hall, Leo lowered his head instantly.

" how dare you pick up a fight with a human?" his father Alpha supreme Aldred of the crescent moon pack asked in anger.

he was furious, the evidence was there, he glanced at the two people behind Leo.

" you Jayson, ain't you supposed to be his beta? and you Desmond his Gamma? what's your use in his life is you can't stop him from being irrational ?" Aldred asked in anger.

" leave them alone father, they have nothing to do with this " another slap landed on Leo's cheek as he made the statement .

" shut your mouth, you're the future Alpha supreme of the Wolves you're not just responsible for the life of the members of your pack, you're responsible for every living Wolf " .

the three boys before him lowered their heads as they dare not look straight at the Alpha's eyes since it will be considered as challenging the Alpha.

Alpha Aldred rubbed his forehead in frustration.

" you will be thirty in two weeks time but you're acting like a pup "

Desmond elbowed Jayson, who Cashion him with his eyes.

" leave my sight " the three ran out instantly for fear of what the Alpha supreme will do to them.

standing outside the door of the hall the trio tried to catch their breath.

" the Alpha supreme looked way too scary for my liking " Desmond said while breathing fast.

" tell me about it " Leo said, he stood upright.

" but how did he get to know about it ?" he added .

the sound of the door opening made them to speed off.

" you know at thirty humans already had mate and children " Desmond said still running.

the trio came to a stop under a peach tree

" thank the goddess am not human, they had a short life span "

" Leo did you notice how that guy looks almost like you ?" Jayson finally said.

Leo knew the guy who Jayson was talking about.

" yeah Leo, Jay's right, the guy looks like you but in a ...how do humans call it again ? " Desmond said thinking.

" nerd " Jay reminded them.

" yeah nerd, he looks like the you in a nerd form " . Desmond added.

Leo stare at both of them.

" are you guys saying he might be my long lost twin ?" he asked.

" who knows things like that do happen remember " Desmond said, he rested his back on the peach tree .

" listen , I know that but don't you think I could have smelt it out of him, werewolves have a high sense of smell but we Lycans, ours is ten times higher than theirs " Leo explained.

" and you're forgetting that their are powerful witches who are capable of hiding one's true scent under that magic of theirs " Desmond injected which made Leo to rethink his statement.

" Leo we ain't saying he's your twin after all humans have something they call a look alike " Jayson said to calm Leo down.

" yeah that's right " Desmond added.

" maybe you can keep an eye on him, you know since he's your look alike, he might do something awful and it will get reported that you did it " Jayson suggested.

Leo stare at him then Desmond, he was beyond grateful.

" you're the best Jay "

" hey!! what about me ?" Desmond protested.

the three friends huge each other, in happiness before Desmond intentionally grab Leo's manhood, Leo stare at him in amazement.

" that was a mistake " Desmond said rising his hands up in the air, Leo didn't listen he tried to get a hold of Desmond but the guy simply took off, running away from him.

halfway Desmond transformed into his Gray Wolf, seeing this Leo transformed into his white Wolf, and ran after the Gary Wolf.

Jayson inhaled deeply, he knew he will have to follow them just to keep an eye on them, he just didn't understand why he has to be the one to babysit two grown adults, maybe that's what comes with being a Beta, a middleman.

he too break into a run, transforming to his black Wolf.

seeing three wolves chasing each other was a normal sight for wolves but for crescent moon it's like a routine.

crescent moon pack wasn't the supreme pack from the beginning, it became the supreme pack after what happened centuries ago, their Alpha has a unique trait which is the colour white of his Wolf , which has been passed on to his only son, he was also fearful just like most Alphas and he has protected his people for these centuries. it is without doubt to say that his reign has been the most peaceful the Wolves has ever experienced, they all just hope that his son be like his father and maintain this peaceful existence.

they have seen war, been to it, understand what war looks and feels like, and they have seen peace, experience it and never want to go back to war.

war isn't what someone to go to, it's makes children fatherless, motherless, orphans, it makes women and men widows and widowers, who will want to lose their families as sometimes war wipe out an entire family.

during the war, crescent moon suffered the most, being the lowest pack, they were the once who sacrificed a lot , they still suffered a lot which made Aldred to challenge the Alpha supreme of that time, everyone thought he was mad and requesting for a death wish, he was still a young man by then, his victory brought back smile to the faces of not only his pack members but the entire wolves.

the white Wolf leaped in the air and made to attack the Gary Wolf before the black Wolf pushed him away.

« you're going to injure him Leo » Jayson mind link Leo, Desmond obviously heard it.

« hey man we're just having fun » he told Jay through the mindlink

« you think I don't know that ?» the black Wolf stopped running and do did the other two.

« you think I did hurt my best friend over nothing ?» Leo said, the white Wolf stare at the black Wolf before he ran off.

« what's up with you Jay ?» the Gray Wolf ran after the white Wolf.

the black Wolf didn't follow them, he just stood on all four staring at them running away from him.
