14. Inheritance Cleared
With the battle over, Valakh called all of his monsters back to the dungeon and ordered them to get some rest.
There will be a celebration later but the monsters need some rest first.
Since Valakh has been fighting for hours against the enemy guardians, he also need to rest so he entrusted me to take care of the rest and then went back to his dungeon along with his guardians.
I handled the captured guardians and demon lords, then took them back to my camp first.
I then start to torture the demon lords and their guardians one by one to make them submit to me.
I started with Guram team and successfully made one of his A-rank guardians to submit to me but something strange happened when that happened.
[Warning, the submitted monster cannot be brought back to the real world as he is still alive in the real world]
'What? Still alive? System, what does that mean?'(Vestia)
[Answer, the current inheritance trial belonged to the [Blood] demon lord, Valakh and it contain his regret for being defeated by the 5 demon lord alliance, so except for the dead [Blood] demon lord Valakh, some of the 5 demon lord may still alive at the real world and the host can only brought out the submitted monsters of a dead demon lord]
I got a little bit surprised by this new information but it didn't made me depressed or anything like that but instead in made me a little bit happy.
After all I can obtain their information about their own weaknesses from their own mouth, even though some time has passed in the real world, most of their ability won't change right.
That means I can use those information to deal with them later in the real world.
After knowing that fact, I stopped torturing them to submit to me but to tell me their weaknesses, their strength, and all other information regarding Guram and his guardians.
I also did the same to Zatril, Zefina, and Ogar and found that beside Guram, Zatril and Zefina were also still alive at the real world.
That means I can only take 5 monsters that have submitted to me from Garock and Ogar.
I also gained a lot of information regarding the demon lords who still alive at the real world.
I don't know whether there any changes and how many years has passed since this war happened, but at least I won't be empty handed against them in the future.
What I got from them was that Guram can only use spear as his weapon, Zatril have a very high defense against physical damage but weak to magic attacks, and lastly Zefina can't fight in close range and also will got some kind of backlash if her spell got interrupted.
And there was another crucial information that I got about them which was the main reason of this war.
Garock, Guram, Zatril, Ogar, and Zefina were originally part of the [Succubus] demon lord vassals but that demon lord was killed by Valakh in a war 2 years ago according their time line.
When they got the news about his death, they were relieved because they thought that they were free at last from the [succubus] demon lord clutch but Valakh actually came knocking to their doors and threatened them to join him as his vassals.
Garock and the others didn't want to be under anyone rule anymore so they refused him.
Unfortunately Valakh didn't let them go that easily.
Since they refused to be his vassals, Valakh harassed their dungeons for the past two years and forced them to declare a war against him and that's was the story how the war start.
There was other interesting thing as well beside those stories.
Zefina has a pink heart mark on her lower abdomen which was a permanent mark that can be used to make her as a slave.
That mark was engraved to her lower abdomen by the [Succubus] demon lord with a special item and it can't be erased.
Since her previous owner has already dead, that mark can be activated again.
The way to activate it is very simple, the mark just need to make contact with the new owner blood and the contract will be established.
Zatril and Guram also has that mark but it was engraved on their back instead.
I made a special note about where their marks located on their body so if there's any chance in the future,I can make them as my slave.

'*sigh* if I had known that it would be like this, I would have tortured Ogar together with his guardians. I was to preoccupied with gathering their information. Alright system, there are only 5 choice for the monsters who had submitted to me so bring them all out, and for Valakh guardian I choose Restiya.'(Vestia)
[Teleporting to the real world in 3... 2... 1...]
Before I knew it, I already back inside that hidden hut once again.

I got very shocked with the last reward of this quest.

Inheritance trial is really awesome, if I can found another one in the future, I will make sure to finish the trial till the end.
I also opened my inventory and and found all the rewards there.

I checked my inventory and found all the rewards there.
I had spent 5 days in the trial and that means half a say in the real world and including the time before the inheritance trial, I went missing for a day.
- Lucia POV-
Master Vestia has been missing for a day now.
He told me that he will come back at night yesterday but it's already noon now and he still hasn't come back.
Livia has already went out to search master after she found out and I choose to stay behind to guard the dungeon.
"I hope nothing happened to you, master..."(Lucia)
I said while looking at the forest direction but suddenly I heard a very familiar voice from my back.
"I'm back Lucia, sorry for making you worry"(Vestia)
I looked back and found my master there.
Seeing him safe and sound made me relieved.
I can't hold my feeling well this time and hugged him with tears in my eyes.
- Vestia POV-
"You're back master... I'm glad that nothing happen to you."(Lucia)
Lucia said with a weak voice while crying on my chest.
Looking at her like that made me feel bad somehow.
"Sorry about that Lucia, I didn't do it on purpose. There was a special reason for this but let's wait for Livia to come back first."(Vestia)
"As long as you are safe then it all fine, master..."(Lucia)
I hugged Lucia back and patted her back to reassure and calm her down.
We then waited for Livia to come back and it didn't take long for her to come back in tears as well.
It seems my disappearance frightened her so much.
Livia then jumped into my arms as well and starts to cry so waited for her to calm down as well.
I then took the both of them to my bedroom which is the room where my dungeon heart located.
After both of them had calmed down, I told them about what happened and when Lucia heard that I found an inheritance, she was very shocked.
"Master! Do you know how hard it is to find an inheritance? This is my first time hearing a new born demon lord finding an inheritance and even cleared the trial as well."(Lucia)
"Is it that hard to find an inheritance?"(Vestia)
"It's not just hard, but almost impossible to find master. After all if you can clear the trial, you can generate the original S-card of that inheritance demon lord and gain other rewards as well. There was even a demon lord who gained a named monster and 3 monster summon pool from an inheritance at the past and it was recorded as the most rewarded inheritance in the demon lord community"(Lucia)
"Well Lucia, I think you should prepare yourself before I show you my rewards."(Vestia)
"Huh?"(Lucia)
After that, I started to take out all the rewards I gained from the inheritance one after another.
I started with taking out the dreadnought armor and vampire king cloak.
When Lucia saw the two S-rank item, she already shocked, but then I didn't stop there and continue with taking out all the monsters summon pool token.
Looking at the 5 summon pool token on the bed, Lucia got frozen from the shock while Livia was happy with my gains.
But then, I said to Lucia that there still more and she can only look at me with horror.
I then took out all the ISC I have and put it on top of the bed.
Lucia has stopped breathing at that point and I even need to shake her for a few seconds to bring her back.
"Master is amazing!"(Livia)
"Master... your luck is scary you know."(Lucia)
"Don't think to much about it."(Vestia)
With my show off show done, I immediately tried to install the monster summon pools that I have in my dungeon but there was a problem, I can only install those summon pools in a special room which is the blood castle room that I have gotten in the inheritance.
The problem here is it will cost me 100.000 DP to build the blood castle and that room will also required an entire floor space to build which mean I need to build a new floor that can only be used as a place for building the blood castle.
Fortunately the universal summon pool can be used to summon the lineage of a created monster so at least I will have one more summon pool before the banquet.
I used that summon pool to summon Livia lineage and turned it into the C-rank Storm Wolf summon pool which can summon 2 storm wolf each day.
I placed the summon pool inside the forest are on the first room of the second floor.
After I'm done, I then came back to my room and used all the ITC I have in my inventory.
After I used the card, 8 magic circle appeared in front of me and then I can see 8 silhouettes from it.
It didn't take much time to form and then 8 monsters appeared before me.
Restiya, the Vampire Queen, Aridnia, the Queen Araxi, Fina, the Kirin , Gote, the Adamantite Goatman, Birot, the Elder Dwarf, Boze, the Roack Lizardman, and lastly both the blood duke and duchess.
Livia was happy to see that she got a lot of new friends at once while Lucia was once again frozen by the shock.
Well I can't blame her for not believing her eyes, after all I just summoned 5 S-rank monsters at once and another 3 A-rank monsters at that.
The eight of them then greeted me while bending one of their kneed to bow down.
