Asril is experiencing his last day as a senior at high school. His life entering adulthood is around the corner, and he hopes he can prolong it a little bit by attending a community college to get an associate's in computer science.
"So what do you guys wish to do in the future?" Asril asked his group of friends consisting of his best friend Olen, Neil, & lastly Trevor.
The group pondered in silence for a little before Olen spoke first, "I want to become a DILF!!" The group busted out laughing, it'll probably be one of the last times at a breakfast table they'll have a moment like this together.
"I want to be a cop, so I can arrest Neil." Trevor didn't care for Neil as they constantly got into fights for retarded reasons.
"I don't know, but I can see Trevor as a gay stripper in a cop uniform..." Neil smirked at Trevor to get under his skin.
'These insults are stupid...' Thought Asril and Olen simultaneously.
"I also don't know what I want to do in life, I just don't want to die a meaningless life I guess." Asril answered his question honestly. He's only getting a degree in computer science so he can have a possible avenue for revenue.
They all nodded at his answer, they already knew how Asril thought after knowing him for a few years.
The first-period bell rang and it was time for the seniors to gather in a single classroom. There are a total of 25 seniors graduating this year, this is only possible because they live in a rural town in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon.
The seniors took their chosen seats, dividing themselves into groups of friends with some lone stragglers. Asril and his friend group also separated themselves and talked about the upcoming graduation.
The teacher stood from his black leather chair to take attendance.
"Asril..." "Here!"; The teacher marked his record sheet and moved down the list.
"Austin", "Ban", "Binard", "Carson", "Curtis", "David", "Flores", "Kate", "Kathlyn", "Kelly", "Kerasine", "Kira", "Lane", "Mady", "Melisa", "Nevi", "Olen", "Richard", "Robert", "Samuel", "Tilly", "Trevor", "Velise", "Wendy." They all replied with a simple "Here!"
"That's all for attendance, good job on the full attendance." The teacher sighed and then briefly congratulated them on making it through the entire experience of high school.
"Alright, class president, please take the stage to discuss plans for the graduation ceremony." The teacher motioned for the class president, Kira, to walk to the front of the classroom.
The class president wasn't a loudspeaker, but with her looks, she'll draw attention to herself anyways. "Okay, we need to decide on music for the walk-out and rose ceremony... I'll write them on the board, and then we'll vote on what we like." She then proceeded to uncap a brown whiteboard marker to use and listen to suggestions.
The class started talking amongst themselves and some turned on music on their phone to browse. At first, the suggestions were serious and we got '7 Years' - Lucas Gramcracker, for the rose ceremony and 'Graduation' - Benny Dog & Juice Box, for the walkout.
'I have a great one...' Asril was originally thinking of heavy metal for a song as a joke, but then it clicked. "Minecraft - C418!" Asril hastily said; it was funny as a joke and still was fitting for a rose ceremony.
There was a brief moment of silence until the class started laughing, bringing the seriousness down to random suggestions and laughs.
There were only two serious suggestions, which will probably end up being two songs by default. We tried fighting to make the walk-in song the star wars theme but none of the adults liked that. We secretly decided to hijack the music after the walk-in the day before and have a brief lightsaber fight on stage.
"What songs are you looking at Trevor? You seem to be looking at quite the collection on your phone." Neil asked Trevor which brought Asril's and Olen's attention.
"I'm not sure, I have a lot of music I like... how about this one I think you'll like it, Neil." Trevor then began to play the sounds of two guys moaning he found through the search function. "No no no, that reminds me of you, Trevor." Neil quickly replied.
"Stop flirting with each other, it turns me on." Olen sarcastically barged in.
"The sexual tension in the air right now... it's getting hot." Robert mentioned who was sitting a desk over as a joke.
Trevor and Neil acted upset at the turn of events, which made everyone laugh a little.
"I don't know about you guys, but I think I didn't get enough sleep..." Asril mentioned while yawning.
"Me too..." Olen said while also yawning.
Everyone in the room was yawning, and generally getting tired. 'I know yawns are contagious, but man that spreads fast...' Asril thought to himself.
It didn't take for something to appear wrong, half the class was randomly sprawled out asleep. Asril immediately stood up and looked at his friends to find them sleeping too.
"Is this some kind of prank?" Asril muttered.
As if Asril stood up too fast, he started to blackout. His vision was fading and he felt himself falling over. 'Shit...'

It was hard to gauge how much time as passed when it felt like an instant, but it felt like he was dropped in his sleep suddenly and suddenly jumped up.
'Oh I feel weird... was there a gas leak?' Asril held his head as it felt like a mix between being lightheaded and a headache while also wanting to puke. "This is what I'd imagine a hangover feeling like..."
Asril slowly stood up from his seat and looked around him expecting to see his classroom or somewhere outside the classroom.
It took a moment for his hazy eyes to readjust to his surroundings, "Now... where the hell is this?"
He wasn't the only one to react in the same manner, almost everyone was confused.
This was a classroom but... it wasn't the same classroom.
