AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Wakey, wakey!" Phina heard a distant voice. "Wake up, Sera!"

Phina jumped awake to find herself on top of a giant red snake. "What the fuck?!"

She immediately tried to grab her sword from instinct, but she didn't get to the Life Flash. What she did get though, is a sharp pain from her ribs. The red snake looked at her, "You good, girl? We're almost at Ragnar of Wrath. Be careful, they don't take kindly to...well, Enders."

"What the hell?" Sera looked around. "Yeah, sorry Shira. I keep getting these nightmares."

"No problem, you stood up for me when we were in The Chosen Few. I can deal with a few screams at night." Shira smiled. "Can't believe they didn't have any open portals though. I didn't think of them unable to sense the World Energy, let alone use it. Everyone's at the Infant-rank, so it's understandable. We'll go through Ragnar of Wrath then to Ephilium's forest."

"Cool..." Sera looked up thinking. 'Who was that black haired girl? That dream was not a nightmare like the other ones before it.'

Shira glanced at the pondering Sera and took a sudden turn, sending Sera's entire body flying. She hit a rock with her back. Phina opened her eyes as she shouted, "SHIRA, WHAT THE...fuck?"

Everyone was looking at her. Kara walked forward, "Are you okay, Phina?"

"Y-Yeah." Phina held her head in confusion. She held her back and felt no pain.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Kara looked at her with worry.

"I...think? I can't really remember it. I just remember that it wasn't scary or anything." Phina shrugged it off. She was getting tired of not remembering anything, so she just shut her mind and accepted everything as it was. "Anyway, are we heading out?"

"We still have a few minutes before we go. We'll leave at sunrise." Kara sat next Phina. "Do you actually know how to use a sword? You don't seem to know how to do anything else."

Phina glared at her, to which Kara responded by raising her arms in the air. "Stepped out of line, my bad."

"I guess I need to try at some point." Phina sighed. She gripped her sword with her left hand as the Life Flash phenomenon occurred. She shook slightly before it went away. Phina unsheathed her sword. She quickly went cold as she started slowly and mindlessly swinging her sword. The speed was low, but the accuracy was insane! She slowly started to speed up. Her slashes even started stirring up Kara's Life Energy. 'What unbelievable control!'

Phina didn't even stop as she kept speeding up, her swings turning into a blur while still never giving up that accuracy. Kara looked worried, "Hey, Phina. Can you just-"

She was cut off as Phina's sword stopped at her neck. Phina opened her eyes in realization. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it! I swear!"

"L-Let's get the sword away from you for now, okay?" Kara gulped in nervousness.

"S-Sure!" Phina quickly threw the sword away and almost hit the sleeping Jack. Luckily, he didn't wake up. "I-I'm so sorry!"

"You missed..." Kara said in a disappointed tone. She then sighed, "Let's move on. Everyone pack up! We're leaving in a few minutes!"

"Should I...not have missed?" Phina said in a confused tone.

"..." Kara slowly walked away. She walked to a tent where she found her husband sleeping. "Wake up, honey. It's time to move out."

Fardo yawned. "Is it already sunrise?"

"No, but we had a little incident with Phina." Kara sighed.

"Excuse me. Phina?" Fardo has a smirk on his flabbergasted face.

"SERAphina." Kara looked to the side with a blush. "You happy now?"

"Come on, babe. If you have a cute little nickname for your best friend, then don't shy away. Maybe she'll train you and make you more powerful, then you'll conquer the world!" Fardo mocked.

"Go fuck yourself!" Kara walked away, her blush reaching her ears. Phina was the first person she ever called by a nickname. Her name was just too long to keep saying all the time.

Fardo laughed to himself before he got up. He equipped his armor and sword. His team was already done preparing as he walked out. "Alright, everyone. Let's move out!"

They kept moving as the day started going by. They could see the trees lessening as they moved. After about 9 hours of travel, Jack looked at Phina. "Aren't you tired?!"

"Not at all." Phina smiled. "I can keep going! Actually, you know what?"

She proceeded to give Jack a piggyback ride. Jack quickly tried to get off, but her grip was insane. He then tried to hit her. As his punch was closing in, another moment flashed through Phina's being. It was another Life Flash!! She saw a small boy covered with make-up crying as she gave him a piggyback ride. She paused as the Life Flash finished, a tear fell from her eye. Jack took this chance to escape her grip.

"What the hell are you idiots doing?!" Fardo shouted from the back. "If something comes from your direction and you don't tell us about it, you're going to clean all the equipment alone!!"

"You got us into trouble, dumbass! Move it!" Jack scolded as he walked forwards, scouting the path ahead.

Phina quickly wiped her tear and followed behind. 'Why? Why does it feel like I'll never be that happy again?'

3 hours later, everyone was spent. Everyone was protesting to Fardo, they wanted-no NEEDED a break!

"It's just a few hours away, you damn drama queens!!" Fardo said to his men.

"Everyone set camp, we'll spend the night here and keep going in the morning." Kara gave her husband a glare as she told the men through rugged breaths.

Fardo rolled his eyes. He then approached Phina. "Hey, Seraphina. You think you can stay guard through the night? I'm starting to get a little dizzy from all the stress."

"I can keep going. Let everyone rest, I'll stay up!" Phina finally started to feel like she was helping. Everyone can rest while she kept guard!

"Alright then. Jack!" Fardo signaled to Jack. "You two will stay up for the entire night. Seraphina can carry you as you sleep at day."

"Wait, what?!" Jack shouted. "Wouldn't it make more sense for me to sleep now and get up in the morning?!"

"We're close to the city. There won't be anything ahead, we don't need you at the front anymore." Fardo said to his brother. "I need you to stay up and tell her if a beast is not in its area. We might've been followed. It won't be fun if everyone woke up for a beast that even you can beat right?"

"Wow. You're really gonna do me like this?" Jack said with a straight face. "Fine. Fine. I'll stay up with her."

Phina looked at him with narrowed eyes. "I have a name, you know."

"And your name is a pain in my ass." Jack said as he started small fire, it would keep him warm throughout the night.

"Call me Phina." Phina said after a moment of consideration. 'Is everyone lazy or is my name just that long?'

Like that, they just stayed quiet as everyone went to their tents.

"You ever get 'Life Flashes' too?" Phina looked to Jack.

"I don't. I heard it's a rare thing." Jack looked to her. "Apparently, it only appears with very specific conditions."

Phina unsheathed her sword as she got a Life Flash. She then sheathed it and touched the handle without unsheathing it. She Life Flashed again. Phina was breathing heavy already, it was mentally tasking to go through such a horrific scene. She then tried unsheathing her sword with her right hand, her non-dominant hand...…nothing happened!!

Jack noticed Phina's happy expression. "I guess you're gonna have to get used to using your right hand instead."

"I'll go show Kara! She might still be up!" Phina got up and rushed to Kara and Fardo's tent.

Jack smiled as he shook his head. She was like an excited child. Jack's smile slowly disappeared as his eyes opened wide. He got up and rushed to Phina, but he was too late, she already lifted the tent's flap!!!

Phina paused. She heard the sound of panting, as well as the sound of fluids dripping. The moaning reached her ears, her enhanced senses didn't help her this time. They didn't notice her. She slowly closed the flap and went back. Her face was so red you would think she was covered in blood.
