The Mysterious Spear.

"BRAAAACE!!!" Mayo yelled as they readied to meet the Beasts.

Phina smirked as she entered into her Ender State.

Flashing Steps!

She teleported into the middle of the enemy army and raised her dagger high and stabbed it into the ground. Mayo felt chills go down his spine. 'Damn it!! Damn her!! We agreed to help the Intermediate-ranks stabilize their hold!!!'

"What the fuck are you doing?!" Richen yelled furiously.

'What the hell?' Spear thought as he started channeling his World Energy into a powerful Skill. 'Even she would get overwhelmed with those numbers!'

Holy Devastation!!

BOOM!!!

An entire kilometer radius around Phina turned into a glowing domain that exploded and killed all the Beasts in its coverage.

ROAAAAR!!!

ROAAR!!

The Beasts roared in pain as the entire frontline of the Beast army literally vanished, not even the bodies remained.

"The bodies are gone, but I can accept it for this kind of exchange." Phina muttered as she felt her World and Life Energy reserves literally leak out of her body. She smirked coldly, "Let's have some fun."

Attack Mode!!

BOOM!!

BOOM!!

BOOOOOM!!!!

Phina kept teleporting all over the army, destroying half the army on her own.

"Alright, enough!!!" Mayo ordered. "The Beginner-ranks have probably ran away!!"

"I doubt it." Phina said as she teleported behind Mayo with Flashing Steps. She turned to the Lion Hunting Team and ordered. "Hold the rest, we're going to push forward."

"Who do you thi-!" Richen held himself back as he saw Mayo, Spear and Phina push through the Beast army. He quickly rushed after them.

Slash!!

Boom!

Roaaar!

The party rushed forward, obliterating the Adult-rank Beasts and Elites that stood in their way. Spear rushed ahead and slashed forward with his two swords.

Weapon Light!!

He quickly killed an Adult-rank Lord, then continued pushing forward with Phina to kill the rest.

'Those two are even stronger than expected!' Mayo smirked madly as he watched Phina and Spear slaughter the Lords. 'We might have a chance at the Royal!!'

"My debt is paid, right?" Phina asked as they broke through the army, pushing forward and approaching a distant group of Beasts.

"Of course, Miss Shira!!" Mayo replied. "With your help, we can even kill a Royal, let alone a mere Beginner-rank Lord!"

'This fucker...' Spear eyed him as he approached Richen subtly and whispered, "Stay on your toes, never let your guard down."

"Okay?" Richen replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Good." Spear nodded. He eyed Phina with a glare. 'Can I trust her to protect us? What if she just runs away...shit.'

"Hey, Shira." Spear approached Phina with a whisper. "Can you take on the Royal?"

"Are you insane? That's a damn Royal we're talking about!" Phina replied harshly as she sheathed her daggers.

"I have a trump card I can use...the question is...do you trust me to hold the Royal back for a minute or two?" Spear asked with seriousness.

"..." Phina grit her teeth as she unsheathed her left dagger. Her Ender State giving her the calmness and rationality she currently needed. "How confident are you?"

"Around 60%..." Spear unconfidently estimated.

"If I can delay it for longer, can you increase that chance?" Phina asked rationally.

"If you can hold it down for six minutes, I WILL kill it!" Spear said with utter confidence.

"What can you do with three?" Phina estimated how long she'd be able to hold a Royal back.

"...maybe 80%." Spear actually undervalued his Skill.

"Alright, I want half the materials we get." Phina proposed.

"Deal." Spear smirked. He then chuckled, "You know, we should get a drink aft-"

"Alright, let's focus! We're approaching the Beginner-rank Elites and Lord." Mayo announced.

They approached two Elite Frost Wolves and the Lord Flaming Frost Hawk. The Elite Frost Wolves awoke with a growl. They quickly dashed at the group.

Richen smirked as he raised his shield. "My time to shine!!"

Boom!

Richen clashed with the two Frost Wolves, throwing them to the side.

"Retreat!" the Flaming Frost Hawk said with a high-pitched voice.

The two Frost Wolves returned to the Hawk's side. Richen revealed a sinister smile, "You think this is all I can do, little birdy?"

Smasher!!

Richen used his Skill which pushed World Energy into his shield and caused a pulse pushing one of the Frost Wolves away.

"I've got the other one!!" Mayo pushed forward.

Blaster!

Mayo used his own Skill to create a beam that pushed back the other Frost Wolf.

"Shira! Spear! Get the bird!" Mayo yelled as he rushed to his Frost Wolf.

"On it!" Spear replied.

Weapon Light!!

Spear sent slash after slash at the Flaming Frost Hawk, most of them missing. He clicked his tongue. "Damn it! That thing is quick!"

"I'll drop it to the ground, you deliver the final blow." Phina said.

Flashing Steps!

She appeared behind the Hawk.

Repulsion!!

Phina pushed the two-meter tall Flaming Frost Hawk to the ground using World Energy.

"Shit!" the Hawk cursed as it lost balance and fell to the ground.

"Got you!!" Spear brandished one of his swords that was covered in a black colored World Energy.

Devil's Cut!!

The black World Energy slash rushed forward, destroying the ground in its path.

"I don't think so!" the Hawk quickly got onto its legs and flapped its wings, creating a hurricane of fire and ice.

Freezing Heat Hurricane!!

"SPEAR!! DODGE!!" Phina called out as the hurricane devoured Spear's Skill.

"Oh shit..." Spear's hands moved quickly as he pushed most of his World Energy into his blades. His blades both turned pitch-black. A roar could be heard as his blades touched the hurricane.

Twin Abaddons!!

BOOOOM!!!!!

WHOOSH!!

The resulting explosion of World Energy sent Phina, Spear and the Flaming Frost Hawk flying.

"Shit." Phina cursed as her cloak ripped apart, her mask slightly cracked at the edge of it. Phina felt hair touch her neck. She quickly noticed that her hair had grown out. 'I forgot about Life Energy...'

She didn't notice that her hair had grown out due to the overwhelming amount of Life Energy she got from slaughtering the Beasts' army. It currently barely reached her neck.

"I need to take out that hawk while it's still weak." Phina muttered as she tried to look through the dust cloud. "Damn it, I can't see..."

Piercing Sight!

"Oh no..." Phina muttered under her breath.

Spear fell to his knees as the Flaming Frost Hawk stood over him. His clothes were mostly destroyed and his mask was completely gone along with some of his face. His green eyes were unfocused and his golden hair swayed while blood dripped off his chin.

"You're not bad, Human..." the Hawk said between its breaths. "too bad you're Life Energy isn't as good as ours."

"I don't think so." Spear smirked weakly. A ring that was on his finger suddenly shattered as Spear recovered to full health. He then gathered whatever World Energy he had left.

Twin Abaddons!

"NO!!" the Hawk screeched in panic.

Slash!

Thud!!

The Flaming Frost Hawk fell to the ground, dead. Spear turned to Phina. "Shira! Go help Mayo, I'll back Richen up!"

"Y-Yeah!" Phina looked at Spear before she turned to help Mayo. 'That Skill he just used...that was the Skill General Ram Walter gave me...Death's Edge...who the hell is that man?'
