When he came out of the Time Compression Room and out of the Pet Storage Space, he found that the girls had finished with their chat and were waiting for him. As for how he knew that, he could sense that they were waiting outside for him.

So after cleaning himself up a bit since he was a bit dirty from spending all that time in the Time Compression Room, he came out to see them.

They were all gathered there waiting for him to come out.

When they saw him come out, they were all surprised.
