Lord of Flies (1)

All of the sect masters and elders trembled the moment that they heard this.

They could feel that the tone of the voice was aimed at them, but there was nothing that they could do about this. After all, they had lost the sacrifices that they had gathered, so they had no choice but to use these disciples that were considered inferior goods.

Still, all of them bowed their heads when faced with the pressure that came from the statue.

At the same time, it was as if they were trying to ask for forgiveness from the one that was behind the statue.

Eventually, one of the sect masters said, "My lord, please don't be angry. This is the best that we could gather during this time, we'll give you better sacrifices next time as long as we tide over this danger."

The other sect masters and elders nodded in agreement to this.
