"Young Lycan!" A sweet and melodic voice called. 

"Selene!" Darren said as soon as he turned around recognizing her as if her image has been engraved into his mind. 

"I curse you, Darren." She said and looked at the pile of dead bodies lying all over the place. 

"For what you have done you will relive your worse moment in your slumber, Darren. Until you find your mate, your slumber shall never be peaceful." 

"Even when you find her, you will know no peace. This is your curse for what you have done." 

The moon goddess said as she started fading into the night. "Remember this Darren."

Fated To The Dark Alpha

Darren heard what Lazarus and his second and third in command said and became a bit calm. Even he didn't believe that Lazarus would send an assassin after him. Lazarus was probably the only alpha who could go toe to toe with him in a one-on-one match. He admitted to himself that he had been a bit too impulsive and his sense of reason got overshadowed by rage. 


Perhaps Lazarus' words of accusation were a bit too much but he could understand his mindset. He had come to his pack driving for miles and spending hours on the road just to accuse him of sending an assassin. If he were to be Lazarus he too would be infuriated.
