"Selene!" Darren said as soon as he turned around recognizing her as if her image has been engraved into his mind. 

"I curse you, Darren." She said and looked at the pile of dead bodies lying all over the place. 

"For what you have done you will relive your worse moment in your slumber, Darren. Until you find your mate, your slumber shall never be peaceful." 

"Even when you find her, you will know no peace. This is your curse for what you have done." 

The moon goddess said as she started fading into the night. "Remember this Darren."

Dana held him close not letting go. She was afraid he was still angry she could feel his emotions from the mate bond, she could his anger,  pain confusion, and more. She wishes she could be of help and ease his unease. "Are you okay?" Dana asked as she looked at his face. "what happened?" She asked in to hope to get some answers from him. There was nothing she could do if he does not tell her. 


Lazarus heard her question and did not know how to answer her. Was he angry because those two witches become a little too comfortable in his pack? He did not know the answer or was he angry that they were after Kora? If so then why is he so protective of her? He had only known her for less than a month. And what was the connection he felt with her? He pulled Dana into a hug and held her tight against himself.
