"Selene!" Darren said as soon as he turned around recognizing her as if her image has been engraved into his mind. 

"I curse you, Darren." She said and looked at the pile of dead bodies lying all over the place. 

"For what you have done you will relive your worse moment in your slumber, Darren. Until you find your mate, your slumber shall never be peaceful." 

"Even when you find her, you will know no peace. This is your curse for what you have done." 

The moon goddess said as she started fading into the night. "Remember this Darren."

Fated To The Dark Alpha

Ezra and Mateo sat as spectators, watching the drama unfold without speaking. They wondered what their mates' parents would be like when they found them, would they be sweet and welcoming, or would they be like Emily's parents, or maybe different?

"Do you all agree to this?" Lazarus asked. Everyone nodded at him and he made a call through the link to both of Emily's parents.

A few minutes later, they walked into the pack house. they turned surprised at the sight of the people sitting inside. They did not know why the alpha had called for them but they came as quickly as they could. Their eyes fell on their daughter who was seated next to Ezra.

"You sent for us, Alpha," They bowed noin respect to Lazarus and Dana before turning to Darrem and doing the same. They have a polite and respectful smile to Kora.

"We did," Lazarus said. He gestured to an empty seat. "Have a seat and we will continue."
