With general Albern

"Aricia.."

I was surprised to hear the black general say my name. How did he know? Whereas this was our first meeting. Do I know him if he takes off the mask?

I didn't break eye contact with The Black General even though the deep red blood was still flowing from my mouth. The black General's hands trembled, his eyes looking at me with a sadly and incredible shock. Isn't his purpose to kill me? But why did he seem unable to stick that sharp sword into my body?

I held my tight chest. said to General Black with an introgressing look, "Who are you?"

he was still silent, still seeming to be covered by doubts about what to do.

An arrow shot towards the black general but he quickly deflected it using a sword. I turned my head to the side, there were about 6 people coming to help me and Jack. One of them was a sturdy and handsome-looking young man, he rode his horse quickly towards us and directly attacked the black general without any more hesitation. They fought fiercely using swords and sometimes fighting for strength.  I don't know if they are wizards or not, yet they seem to both have great power.

"Queen Aricia!" A man with a mustache got off his horse and walked up to me in a panic. Meanwhile, the others joined the fight to help jack fight the black general's army.

The man took out a small thumb-sized bottle from his shirt pocket, inside the bottle was shimmering pink water.

"Come on drink queen! This is the antidote." The man said. I immediately took a sip of the pink water and the tightness in my chest diminished but I was still bleeding.

Feeling that things weren't safe yet, I looked around. Jack had already defeated the black army along with the people who helped. Although both are strong and no one loses but it seems that the black General chose to end the fight quite here. He stared at me for a moment before finally leaving with his army, leaving me with a curious remnant that was creeping. Who is the black General behind the iron mask?

Jack and the others approached us, as did the handsome, well-built young man. I subconsciously stared at the young man's every step. He looks dashing and bold, it is an undeniable fact.

I was astonished when I saw Jack salute the young man. It seems that he is a powerful person in the Breathworld, to the point of making an alpha bow his head.

The young man knelt before me, he saluted making me rush to wipe the remaining blood from my mouth, I didn't want to look so embarrassing in front of the charming young man like him.

"Welcome to Breathworld, my queen. Spare me for finding the queen's whereabouts too late."

I just smiled awkwardly. Looking at it up close really refreshes the eyes, I'm serious! He was really amazingly handsome especially as he lifted his face and looked at me worriedly.

"How do you feel now? Does the antidote help?"

"yes, I feel better now." I replied. My attention was distracted at the realization of my two best friends coming running around towards us, I immediately called bella's name and Andrew happily saw them survive the attack of the black army.

I hugged Bella tightly while holding back tears of emotion.

"I think you guys are already a rock!" Bella and Andrew chuckled. Then they took turns hugging the mustachioed man next to me, and I was surprised to find that the man turned out to be their father.

"So you are James Anderson? The protector of the royal family?" I asked.

"yes, that's who I am."

"How can you know I need an antidote?"

James came with an antidote as if he knew I was hit by a poisoned arrow. Of course it was an awkward thing in my opinion.

"Andrew gave the news with an owl letter."

I glanced at Andrew when I heard James' explanation. Andrew was smart, he immediately looked for a way out when he learned the poison was deadly. Apparently that's what he did when he left me in the treatment room last night.

"You have a strong healing power, queen. Actually, even without that antidote you will still survive."

I was shocked. Likewise with Jack and my two best friends.

"What does father mean?" Bella asked. James frowned in surprise.

"So, don't my two children pay attention to the queen? Queen Aricia has healing powers, her body can heal wounds and toxins by itself. Actually, Queen Aricia has already exposed the poison."

I squinted incredulously, "really? Then why does it feel like I'm going to die right then and there?"

"Having healing power doesn't mean not feeling pain, my queen. You will obviously feel great pain because your body is fighting against a deadly poison."

I'm grateful if that's true. I think the healing power is very useful for me who is coming to this dangerous world for the first time.

"are you ready to meet your people, the queen?"

I turned to the handsome guy. Snow was still falling from the sky, but now it wasn't cold from the snow anymore that I felt, but it was cold from the nervousness that hit me. Am I ready to meet my people? Is it now that my heart truly accepts my destiny as the queen of Breathworld?

I took a deep breath and nodded steadily. The handsome guy I still don't know his name then helped me ride his horse. Yes, I was forced to ride a horse alone with him. While Bella rides Jack who turns into his wolf form, Andrew and James use his magic and the others use their respective horses.

"We're heading into the spring part of Breathworld!" He said giving a decree. The journey restarted, as we left the winter part of Breathworld. We passed large trees whose leaves were already partially covered with snow, high mountains, waterfalls and rivers that were already frozen. On the horse I didn't say much, my gaze looked forward.

"What's bothering your mind, my queen? Are you uncomfortable riding alone with me?"

I turned my head to look at the handsome guy's face, he glanced at me for a moment then refocused on riding his horse.

"No. I was just nervous about meeting everyone. How if they are disappointed to get a queen like me?"

He slowed down the speed of his horse while asking me to look forward. We turned out to have left the winter part of Breathworld and in front of it were already visible green trees swaying gently. A fresh breeze and the fragrant smell of spring greeted us.

"That's where the people are waiting for your presence. Raise your head with confidence! Rest assured of yourself so that you can convince your people."

My feelings became a little warm and it was better to hear the guy's remarks. As we entered the winter border, we were greeted by falling cherry blossoms and drifting following where we were going. I was so fascinated that I asked the guy to stop his horse and get off. I chose to take off my footwear and walked on such a fresh green grass.

"It's so beautiful here, like a fairy tale world. Is the place still far away?" I asked anyone.

"It's not so far from here, my Queen." James replied. I nodded in understanding, suddenly appearing as desperate as a desire in my mind.

"Then you all go first. I'll walk."

Everyone looked confused. It seems that they are reluctant to leave me here alone.

"Queen Aricia--"

"Go first! I will accompany the queen to walk." The handsome guy said interrupting Bella's remarks with a awake intonation. No one refuted his order, everyone left directly first without much consideration.

"Who are you really?" I finally asked the identity of the handsome guy while paying attention to his conspicuous figure. I admit he looks authoritative and has an alluring leader's soul.

He frowned in surprise, "I thought you recognized me. I am the general of Albern, your majesty. I am in charge of protecting the kingdom and when king Arthur was in charge of the past my father was also the one who became a general."

My eyes rounded in surprise. No wonder everyone respects and obeys his orders. He is the confidant of a king and queen!

"From the first day I was stranded here I often heard your name mentioned,"

General Albern smiled. As he led his horse to walk he said, "you must have loved the beauty of nature so much that you chose to walk."

I caught up then walked ahead of General Albern. I ran around as I spread my arms enjoying the gusts of wind that blew my long silver hair.

"It's like being in a fairyland here, I love it!" I said. I knew the general Albern was watching me surrounded by flying cherry blossom petals.

Suddenly we were startled by a large, self-moving tree. I ran closer to general Albern's body as the tree splattered with lush leaves, whereas before it was just like a dead tree.

General Albern chuckled at the sight of me gawking , making me feel ashamed.

"I'm just not used to the uniqueness of Breathworld. Only this time I saw an animate tree." I said explaining. We continued on our way as we heard the story of general Albern.

"It's a fixel tree. Indeed some are still alive today. However, that fixedel tree is long dead, it is your presence that may bring it back to life."

I rounded my eyes incredulously, "really? It's impossible!"

"Have you heard the story of king Allan?" General Albern asked and immediately I nodded. We were currently passing a magnificent stone bridge, under which flowed a swift river from the flow of the waterfall.

"I only heard a little bit from Bella about king Allan. He is my grandfather's father, isn't he?"

"That's right. King Allan has a characteristic silver hair and purple eyes like you, he was born as a conqueror of the Breathworld so that he can control the Realm of Breathworld, it seems that you are too."

I was stunned for a moment. Are you imagining how special it is to have the power to control the Breathworld realm?

"You have to ask your uncle to show the memory of King Allan, so that you can know the true story!"

I immediately turned my head quickly at the general who had a firm line on his face.

"Can it? How can I see the memory of King Allan who is gone?" I asked in astonishment. I was also quite surprised to learn of the fact that I have a family here.

"Of course you can. King Allan has already considered your arrival, so he transferred the memory to his family before he died."

"So, the memory is passed down through the generations? Are you sure that the memory was not tampered with by someone to mislead me?"

General Albern seemed a little jolted with my doubts, but he normalized his expression again. He was familiar with my lack of knowledge.

"The memory is already sealed, whatever you will see later then believe me." He said. I stopped the pace to take a deep look at his eyes. I looked for lies there, but he looked serious and sincere.

Ah! Forget for a moment the headache of the kingdom! I guess I should ask the thing that I was curious about from the beginning I saw general Albern.

"Do you exercise regularly? Because your abdominal muscles and biceps muscles look cool!"

"Excuse me, my queen?" General Albern's expression looked shocked by my question which was very far from the topic of discussion. He was at a loss as to what to answer.

"I've been practicing martial arts since I was a kid and also fighting almost every day to protect the kingdom from Allosa's followers. Maybe that includes exercising every day?" He replied in a tone of doubt.

"yes, maybe."

Meeting an almost perfect guy like general Albern was a stroke of luck. If I come back from here, I'm more likely to find a guy like him anymore. So, the golden opportunity should not be wasted! I tell you, that general Albern is the kind of guy who if you stare at him then there is a desire for you to hug and take home. I shouldn't have thought of anything like that, when Breathworld's condition was precarious. But what else do you want? He's got an appeal that's hard to resist.

"Do you have a lover?" I asked even more presumptuously.

"No, I don't have one."

"What if it was before? Does it have a lover?" I asked again as I raised her seductive eyebrows.

"Not really, your majesty. I don't have time to think about love, breathworld security is above all else for me."

Unlucky! His remarks offended me. I snore in the other direction. Never mind! It's better to just go back to the original discussion. After all, after another thought that general Albern was not so attractive, he was very stiff and over serious.

"After this flower field, we will arrive at the destination." General Albern said. I didn't chime in on him.

This afternoon is very sunny. The blue of the vast sky seemed so harmonious with the charm of thousands of acres of sunflowers. Every once in a while I turn to general Albern, from the first second I was in this beautiful land, the name of general Albern has been so famous for his greatness and loyalty. I should have put my full trust in general Albern, he is the one who will always be on my right side in the future.
