Hayashi had paused: looking at the System: telling him he had completed a mission as the System congratulated him.
Mission; Use 3 skills at the same time. Complete!

"Nice," Hayashi accepted the rewards and looked at other missions that pertained to his class and daily life.
"Mimic someone 1,000 times. Nah, I'd have to be around the same person too long, and hordes would probably get left to chumps.
Run 45 km, I mean, maybe.
Learn and use 4 different martial arts...? I can do that.."
His fingers slid to press accept, but the requirements flashed him.

Fuck.
"I'll have to stick with the Run 45 km quest then." Hayashi started to run around the track and watched as the meter ticked up. He was about halfway done with his second lap when he completed the mission.

Hayashi felt his body become lighter and once again searched for missions. This process continued: find a mission; complete it, and check for more.
The last one in his mission marathon rewarded an event occurrence.
Several hisses emitted from a bush somewhere behind him. When he turned, green eyes glinted at him. They were as green as the bushes that surrounded them. It was a blink and miss it color match.
Hayashi needed a better look to judge the size.
[Eye of the Hunter]
It seemed a waste of energy as the creature ran to him at full speed. Despite this, Hayashi stayed his ground. The kitten made it about halfway before stopping.
It was a butterscotch ginger cat. It was a kitten, definitely young. It probably came looking for food or its mother.
"Hey, little buddy, are you a good kitty?" Hayashi lowered his body until he was resting on his knees; he patted his legs softly; it was a poor attempt at friendliness.
At least, according to the cat.
The little beast rushed him: his proximity to the ground becoming a disadvantage as the cat jumped to his face. He didn't even feel his move activate.
[BLOODLUST]
The -small- creature hopped off him at the slightest pressure. The kitten became visibly upset: spitting and hissing at Hayashi.
"That little fucking shit," Hayashi cursed. The little fucker looked back and saw the marks on Hayashi's face and smiled. As if to invite him to a place he hadn't been.
The cat was wrong, though; he knew the cat was crawling back to hell. He'd been there, done that, and gotten a t-shirt.
That didn't mean he wasn't going to follow the whiskered shit. It was his random occurrence.
[Hunter's Footsteps]
Hayashi snuck up on the wee bastard, picked him up, and plopped him on his head. The cat, being caught unaware, froze.

"Nice!" Hayashi accepted his rewards.
"I should name you. I mean, I can't call you [mutant kitten] all the time." Hayashi said to the cat, whose only response was to open an eye and tap his forehead.
Any trace of the crass cat from earlier was gone, though Hayashi chalked it up to the duality of cats.
"Maybe I'll call you," Hayashi paused: petting the kitten, "Ikita?"
The cat paused and hopped off his head.
Hayashi sighed, "I thought so."
He followed his little companion to the gates of the school.
It was dark out now, but the lights lining the entrance gave the school a well-lit appearance. Hayashi made a mental note to thank the Labor group.
The exterior looked nicer. Broken windows from the shootout had been fixed, but the greenhouse stole the show. Rows upon rows of crops were thriving, from corn to tomatoes, rice to oranges. The sun had gone down, but the greenhouse was fitted with LED lights. There were only 2 colors, though. A deep-violet blue and a deep red, almost crimson, color.
Hayashi made a mental note to ask: Why those colors? Before finding his furry friend and heading off to bed.
-IN THE MORNING-
Hayashi slept in while the president was instructing the labor force.
The Combat Crew and Foraging team were sparring if you could call it that. The Combat crew were fighters, warriors that had been trained; on the other hand, the foraging team had no place on a battlefield. The result: one group absolutely destroying the other.
Dan suddenly bursts into Hayashi's room.
"Wake up, my Student! You've missed at least 4 days of training! Time to get back on it!" Dan yelled, his hearty tone echoing off the walls, pulling Hayashi's covers off.

Hayashi rolled out of bed and got ready for the day. The gym showers seemed quiet and empty. Usually, he woke up early enough to shower and bond with the rest of the Combat Crew.
Hayashi had just finished contemplating before a fist was introduced to his face.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty!" Dan said as he was now just beating Hayashi up instead of a fair fight.
"Good- Uagh! M- Morning! Ack!" Hayashi greets him as he gets pelted by Dan with various techniques before retreating.

"Come On! Where's that Cut them all down attitude!?" Dan taunted the recovering Hayashi as he charged the boy.
"Right Here!" Hayashi uppercuts Dan in the chin making him stumble. "How's this! and that!" Hayashi imitates Dan's punches and kicks letting the martial arts soak into his muscle memory.
"Good, good!" Dan says as he suddenly counters Hayashi's barrage and used another technique that used a faint and kicks him in the ribcage making him stumble back Dan follows up with a strong punch which Hayashi endures and retreats back getting back in the position [Frost Stance...Freezing the joints] Hayashi said smiling as he rushed at Dan with Dan delivering a counter-attack only to be grabbed by Hayashi and have his leg and knee hooked by his leg and his arm taken by Hayashi before getting slammed into the ground. "I finally...won..." Hayashi said now falling on his back next to Dan.
"G-Good job kid...you bested me..." He said exhaustedly

"Mreeooowww!" The kitten meows as many people were sitting next to it and eats sardines that someone was feeding him while watching the sparring session between Dan. When they finished the kitten ran towards Dan and jumped on his back before climbing onto his shoulder and resting there.
"Awww..." Hayashi cooed the kitten and rubbed its ears before looking at his teammates who came to watch the battle. "What?"
Shima Hotaru walked out from the crowd. "You never told me you had a cat?"
"You never asked." Hayashi smiled
"Can we pet him?" the combat team members swarmed around Hayashi as he had no choice but to give in.
"Sure, only if Ni-Liv allows it, He might bite if he doesn't like you." Hayashi bluffs as people come around and swarm the kitten, instantly all of them get repelled by the kitten's tail as it seemed to be awakened as well with the revealed ability to make his tail grow.
"Mew..." The cat meows as the entire team is stunned at its ability to grow its tail instantly backing away now the kitten had black stripes across its back and face.
"Well, that's new" Hayashi picks up Ni-Liv and puts the kitten on his shoulder. "Well, let's go. We need to wash up, who's washing the clothes?"
"I think it's Saito and Ishioka today. Or maybe this week, they've been washing clothes for the past two weeks really..." An archery kid told Hayashi while throwing him a bag of clothes.
"Thanks," Hayashi said catching
"No problem, the foraging team looted a mall filled with clothes and other supplies"
"That team huh? Hmph." Hayashi started to walk away with the mutant cat walking away with him as he gets to the shower.
"It's weird how that cat follows him." A kendo member said
"It's kinda cute, it's just a strange cat with a really long tail..." the replying member said.
Hayashi starts the shower and the water starts to run making the kitten step back but Hayashi picks it up before it can get away and puts it in the warm water. The kitten's claws start to come out but Hayashi looked at it as it adapted to the water and it retreated its claws before both of them got out of the shower and both were wrapped with a towel after relaxing in the hot water the kitten had fallen asleep on Hayashi's head as Hayashi rubbed its ears. "C'mon little guy, tomorrow we're going zombie slaying..."
Hayashi puts on the clothes in the bag and notices a plastic toy in the bag, a laser pointer with a post-it note on it as he reads it. "Got it from a mechanic, come see me for the rest. -Nishiwaka" Hayashi reads it and laughs a bit but goes to see Nishiwaka anyway while putting Ni-Liv in his room. "[Hunter's Footsteps](Stealth)" Hayashi covers the sound of his footsteps and appears behind Nishiwaka and taps his shoulder, scaring the larger male. "Hiya"
"Can't you be normal and appear in front of me?" Nishiwaka asked as he bonks Hayashi with his bat.
"Where's the fun in that?" Hayashi said while laughing. "Plus you called me here so show me I wanna know why." Hayashi shows him the laser pointer. "I don't really need this, I can aim just fine on my own."
"I know. We're in the middle of R&D and trying to make new weapons but don't exactly have it down. We can only make basic wooden and steel blades, your slingshots, and a few other pieces of gear. Making it more advanced is so much more technical and we're having trouble."
"That's what you called me here for? I get it. Pass me your entire supply of [Rope] and metal" He said putting up his right hand as it glowed faintly.
"Alright, you mad man..." Nishiwaka went and carried a bag filled with [Iron] and [Rope]
"Thanks. now watch and learn" Hayashi said putting the materials on the ground and combining it with any [Wood] from his Inventory "[Elemental Attunment]![7 Element Channeling]![Create Arms]![Create Munitions]!" Hayashi activated his System skills as he imagined creating a Crossbow as his imagination materialized as a single crossbow with six [Bolts] with various elemental effects were created
"Y-You did it!" Nishiwaka smiled and picked up the crossbow along with the bolts and loaded a bolt into it and aimed it at a tree and fired it, making a hole through it. "Powerful..."
"I know, Break it down, Do some R&D, and create more."

"Anything else you want me to make...?" Hayashi said looking at Nishiwaka.
"Think you can make a shield and an Axe?" Nishiwaka asked
Hayashi looked at the Level of [Create Arms] "[Create Arms] LVL 13... I can't make an Axe just yet, I can make other weapons, however." Hayashi tells him.
"Alright then...you seem that you can't make larger and heavier weapons so I'll request lighter weapons."
"Right!" Hayashi looks at the [Rope] and [Iron] and imagines a machete as it materializes in front of him making the wood and Iron fuse together and then making another crossbow with more bolts to spare.
"Done," Hayashi said, handing the weapons to Nishiwaka. "Treat them well, oh right can I ask you to forge something for me?" Hayashi asked.
"Depends on what it is," the Blacksmith said.
"Can you forge a lens for me?" Hayashi asked
"Sure, but I need quartz sand, we have no clear plastic."
"Will do, I'll get to finding that tomorrow," Hayashi said now smirking as if he had some sort of scheme while walking away.

"[Shattering bundle]? This isn't going to explode and kill me when I open it, right?" Hayashi asked himself hesitantly: pushing the open button.
"PING!" The System sounds off again as now he's unlocked
every shattering weapon in the crafting cue.
"Huh...I expected to just end there-"
"Mew-" Ni-Liv meows now next to the surprised Hayashi.
"Hey, Lil dude... Let's fight a zombie, I need to see your combat ability." Hayashi told the cat as it seemed to understand him and followed him as he left the gates of the school.
A few moments later Hayashi is approached by a zombie as the small cat runs up to it and scratches its eyes and groans in a bit of pain now flailing its arms in Hayashi's direction before the cat jumps up again and headbutts the zombie onto the ground and making it bash its head in.
"It can beat a zombie on its own without activating its powers, just using his claws alone...Ni-Liv! Use your powers on that zombie over there!" Hayashi pointed at a zombie that was now coming towards Hayashi and Ni-Liv after it heard his voice.
"Mreoooww!" The small cat now had stripes across its face and unleashed its claws again this time decapitating the zombie in one go before its stripes disappeared.
"Speed and agility...Once this little cat grows, it can be a ferocious ally, I wonder what the other skills may be." He looked at the cat who was now grooming itself. "[Harvest]!"
Hayashi turns the zombies to dust with the skill now that he's reached a certain proficiency with it, and noticed two green orbs flew towards Ni-Liv who had seemed to grow a little once he absorbed the green orbs.
