Birth of a Demon
Fueki picked up the [Drop Item] and wielded it when she finally got to marvel at the blade she just picked up. It didn't seem to be a normal blade seeing as how a zombie ended up having this item. It was a combat knife, a long one that could be said to be a sword, a tactical blade made glowing green on its edge with illustrations of mountains filled in with green gemstones. She admired the blade before getting a minor headache and jumping away and closing one of her eyes seeing as a new ability just appeared in her skill set.
"New Ability: 6 Sheath Dance- A subspace that allows the user to store six swords of their choice and control them telekinetically, requires 2 blades at minimum in the subspace sheathe to control"
Fueki smiled and looked at what remained of the zombie wave and took the sword that Hayashi gave her and the new blade she acquired and threw them into the air only for the sheaths to disappear and the swords to be floating as she advanced. "Thirteenth River: Inverse Flow! Sixteenth River: Flooding Path!" Fueki said as the blades seemed to follow her every whim. She cut the zombies she was facing into clean thirds now with the power of three blades.
"[Eye Of The Hunter][Hunter's Footsteps][Blade Aura]!" Hayashi dashes through the wave reducing the number ever so slowly while working on the skills he currently has as they all level up. "[Elemental Attunment][7 Element Channeling]" Hayashi started to glow and energy radiated from his body and soul as the circle on his chest did not display an element, but a dagger as the elemental power seeped into his blade aura, changing the shape and overall powers and effects of both skills being activated. "My blade Aura became stronger...I'm collecting a lot of loot. The only thing to hate is that this trash gives random loot! [Harvest]!" Hayashi stretched out his hand and received dozens of resources and absorbed residual from his chest, which he found weird before retreating and taking out his three unnamed weapons and giving them each name before joining into battle once more.
Chiyo and Yoshida were teaming up and taking down multiple mutants at the same time.
"Minato-san!" Inoue yelled as she jumped from the ground covered in a black suit and a short katana blade.
"I know! [Intervention]![Arcane Sheild]! [Razor Sheild]! [Sheild Bash]!" Yoshida teleports in front of Inoue and attacks multiple zombies at the same time in tandem with her.

"ROAR!" A tiger suddenly appeared.
"Ni-Liv!" Nishiwaka said hopping on top of the tiger and waving his [Pure Titanium Bat] in the air. "Into Battle!" He rode on Ni-Liv swinging his bat at zombies, killing them instantly with his strength before a large sharp needle intercepted the team's rush attack at the zombie wave making them stop as they saw their attacker and quickly ran for cover before hearing the hum of a motor and the screeching of tires.
"Get in everyone!" Hayashi shouted as he unlocked the doors and reinforced the car with upgrades again, ripping more resources from his inventory. "Someone take the wheel from me!" Hayashi said when everyone got in, switching seats with Chiyo.
"Damn, I failed to subdue them..." a scrawny male with a raspy voice said.
"Are they...In a car!?" another man said right next to the scrawny man slightly scared.
"And? so what if they are? they can't reach us up he-" a dart-like object cuts his face as Hayashi makes solid eye contact with the scrawny male. "H-Heee! He can see us! He hit me!" The scrawny male said holding his cheek, but Hayashi smiled at the two as the other male looked at him.
"[Eye of the Hunter][Arcane: Snipe]" Last one was a warning shot! Let's see how you do when I'm serious! [Create Munitions]!" Hayashi kept shooting iron bullets at them
"Damn that kid's relentless!" the male said
"Damn him! [Needle Buster Talisman]!" He took out a talisman that had the words "Thousand Needle" on the card as it burned away, a thousand needles would start to rain and target Hayashi who only hits the car twice.
"Reverse!" Hayashi instructed Chiyo who did exactly that and reversed the car. "My turn! Modification menu![Enhance Armor]!" Hayashi said as he increased the armor of the car and wheels. "Yoshida!"
"[Arcane Shield]!" Yoshida activated the skill outside the car to block the rest of the needles. "Done! Go right ahead!"
"Thanks!"
"Damn that kid! He had companions..."
"Then allow me to take care of them," the second male said as his arm grew contorted before turning into what could only be seen as a large beast arm. The other man grinned and took a giant spear from his arm and threw it. "[Morph]"
"DAMN! [Strong Shot]!" Hayashi said countering the giant spear.
"Hm...It seems as if he's adapted to this type of battle..."The second male said revealing his face and reverting his arm to normal.
"I..." Hayashi thought about his options carefully and went back into the car. "Retreat... get further into the city and we can fill up on gas..." Hayashi looked back as he casts his [Harvest] skill again while they retreated deeper in to recuperate their strength.
"Who was our attackers Hayashi!?" Yoshida glared at him and grabbed his collar.
"I don't know," Hayashi said removing Yoshida's grip on his collar and harming him in the process.
"Stop you two...We have bigger fish to fry." Inoue said filling up the car with a bottle of gasoline.
"She is right..." Fueki said while cleaning off her swords.
"TSK!" Yoshida forced his hand out of Hayashi's and put his hand over while turning around.
"Well, that didn't go as planned," Nishiwaka said as he walked up to the grey-haired boy
"It went better than expected," he told the larger male while looking up and taking out all three unnamed weapons.
"I see..." Nishiwaka said seemingly getting the point of Hayashi's expedition
"Jade Tempest, Kaiser, and Last Stand." Hayashi held all three weapons and referred to them by names given on the battlefield switching to [Jade Tempest] he admired the work done on it. A karambit knife with a slingshot on the safety ring, the grip was made with pure jade. "It's not bad...how you made these..." Hayashi complimented Nishiwaka's works by switching to [Kaiser]. It was a trench knife but the design made the blade overlap with the knuckles and the blade length on the end had small slingshot prongs installed into it making Hayashi smile, before switching to the [Last Stand]. Out of all the new weapons, this one was the most peculiar as it was a slingshot-fused mini sledge hammer and just looked at Nishiwaka before hearing his system alarm go off.

"You're kidding me...you did this to be funny didn't you?"
"A little bit, but I also wanted to test the limits of your fighting style and ingenuity. With these weapons, it's possible. All the best~" Nishiwaka walks away snickering, hoping that Hayashi will learn the secrets of the [Last Stand] weapon.
"Damnit..." Hayashi swings the hammer as if it were his daggers before taking out [Broken weapon] and putting his hand on it. "Modification menu [Lesser Repair]" Hayashi managed to repair his [Hornet Emporer] but the durability was low. Hayashi looked at it and pulled out a [Titanium Ingot], [Aluminum Ingot], and a [Gold Ingot]. "[Lesser Repair!]" Hayashi said as the Iron and Titanium ingots fused with the Slingshot-blade weapon to a more suitable extent but the [Gold Ingot] was unused.

This caught Hayashi by surprise as he chose to upgrade hesitantly.
Nishiwaka went over to the rest of the team who seemed to be looting nearby stores and places with not many zombies. "There are many resources for me in the jewelry store to smelt down..." He went in and instantly took the glass off and looted as much jewelry as possible.
"Hayashi-San!" Chiyo called out to Hayashi who was practicing with his hammer.
"Yes?" Hayashi asked tossing his hammer and making it disappear.
"We have a lot of resources!" Chiyo smiled at him showing him the amount of stuff they found, from seeds and food to materials, Hayashi only picked up what seemed like a large diamond.
"PING!" Acquired [Synthetic Diamond] x1.
"This is fake...but I could put it to use." Hayashi takes all the resources into his subspace but instantly gets a feeling of weighing an anvil on his back. "KGH!"
Ni-Liv was just asleep and the fur of the cat was starting to change color.
"System! Let me see Ni-Liv's level!" Hayashi said Ni-Liv's level appeared above the cat's head.

"My cat is level 16 huh?" Hayashi said picking up the cat. "System! Stats!" Hayashi said as it pinged again.
"PING!" The system chimed and showed Hayashi's stats.

Hayashi looked at his proficiencies and noticed he had completed 1-handed weapon Proficiency in fact it had already reached LVL 12 His martial arts were lacking at LVL 8 and his 2-Handed weapons Proficiency was only at LVL 5
Hayashi sighed and turned using a skill on [Last Stand] and fusing the synthetic diamond into the hammer before swinging it until he reached LVL 6 in heavy weapons. "Is the car ready to go? I'm itching for a round two with those guys..." Hayashi asked.
"Almost...We burned through a lot more gas than I expected." Inoue told him. "We're almost there."
"BANG BANG!" Fueki hits the car with her fist as a signal that it's ready to go.
"We should be fine now-"
"POLICE! DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"
Hayashi looked at the people who quickly surrounded him noticing one of them making his way to their car. "I'd warn you, try to hijack us and you might end up like one of those damned dead men walking," Hayashi told the one who made their way to the car and opened the passenger side door.
"Shut it, kid. We're law enforcement we know what we're doing" another officer looked Hayashi dead in the eye, trying to intimidate him, to the metallic-haired kid only smirking and unleashing his bloodlust skill in the immediate area making all of them freeze up and point their guns towards Hayashi.
"Anyone else feeling that...?" one of the officers who pointed their guns asked.
"Yeah, I felt it-" The officer suddenly cut himself off and dropped to the floor with Hayashi standing behind him.
"So what's it going to be? surrender or do we have to use force?" He said directing the others back into the car with the remaining officers pointing their guns at him.
"Stay right there..." one of them said as he slowly approached Hayashi but was quickly disarmed by Hayashi and held hostage.
"AGH! HOW!?" The officer was forced onto his knees.
"We can charge you with the assault of an officer!" a female officer screamed
"And I can charge you with brandishing a dangerous weapon, harassment, and attempted car theft. So turn around before things get uglier," he told them gripping the captured officer's shoulder harder and harder until the captive screamed in pain.
"AHHH!!! OK OK BACK OFF!" The officer screamed before Hayashi lets him go then kicked him to the ground before turning his back and showing his [Last Stand] weapon that he used to disarm the officer as well as his gun.
"Tell your faction to stop targeting [Ground Zero]. It won't end nicely when we go over to your faction if you don't" Hayashi got in the car and sped off leaving the officers in pure shock.
"That goddamned kid..." the female officer mumbled under her breath noticing that Hayashi didn't just take the gun but the holster and a few things from the former captive officer.
