Through the Mirror

"Please Doctor Serantro, I am entitled to know! This is a very serious situation and anything you say, could help. So, please, what do you mean when you say this is done by dark magic." I pleaded.

I need answers. I need them now.

He looked at the ground, back to me and then replied,

"This is going to be a long story, so prepare your coffee and your food and please do keep an open mind. I really don't think you'll fully understand and you aren't of age yet. This was meant to have waited until you were eighteen, but since you already have suspicions, I suppose I have no choice, but to tell you. I hope your parents will forgive me, they entrusted this to me, to one day tell you. I just didn't think it would be so soon."

I still don't want to believe this has to do with magic. I really hope when I come back from the kitchen, he'll be laughing and tell me there's a cure.

I quickly made a rundown the hall and stammered my way downstairs to the kitchen. Preparing my coffee which only took a few minutes. I have been a coffee lover since I can remember. I of course grabbed a few munchies and then all of a sudden I heard something.

A faint whisper and I knew exactly who it was.

"Crystal. Please, come quick."

A familiar voice called my name; it was coming from the downstairs bathroom. I scurried down the hall and into the bathroom, and looking back at me from inside the mirror was none other than, the man in the mirror. Just the guy I need to speak to, oddly enough. Thinking he was someone I should stay far away from, but I have so many questions left un-answered. Seriously, I hope he'll just tell me who he is and what the hell is going on. I need to make this quick though, or else Doc will start to wonder why I haven't come back upstairs. I think I would rather be talking with the man in the mirror then what the doctor has yet to tell me. For some reason the man in the mirror makes me feel like he gets me. I know I had my doubts, but I just feel in my heart, you know?

I quickly took my eyes off him for a second, and decided it would be safer to lock the door just in case, but when I looked back to the mirror, he was gone.

It's quiet, too quiet. Where the hell is he? I am pretty sure he can bounce between the upstairs bathroom and this one, but I swear I heard his voice, I know I did. he's just gone.

"Hello?" I whispered with distress.

No response.

I got closer to the mirror and put my hand on it and out of nowhere my hand fell through. I jumped backwards looking down at my hand, then slowly I reached for the mirror and I stuck my hand towards it and it phased through the mirror.

What the?

"Crystal?" This time, I heard my doctor calling from upstairs and I replied,

"In the bathroom, sorry, I'll be a little bit longer. I had to go; couldn't hold it in any longer."

I know that was too much information, which he probably didn't want to hear, but he's a doctor, so he's probably used to things like that and more, and I had to come up with something believable. I hate the fact that I'll be leaving my sister, yet she is in safe hands with our doc, and my curiosity is itching to know where this mirror leads.

I climbed onto the sink, trying not to make too much noise, or falling off for that matter and took a leap of faith. Just hoping this wasn't a terrible idea and potentially breaking my neck or getting glass stuck in me, but sure enough, I went through it. Not knowing whether I would come out on the other side dead or alive.

I was falling.

I couldn't open my mouth to scream, heaven forbid I wanted to, but the pressure was keeping my mouth closed. The falling continued, it seemed endless and all around me were shattered pieces of mirrors, but to my surprise, nothing touched me and then it went dark .

Was this some sort of Alice in Wonderland type thing?

I closed my eyes and shortly after what felt like forever, I felt my body touch some sort of soft  surface and I slowly opened my eyes. There I was laying in the middle of an open field of green grass, that stretched for miles and you could see the sunset over the horizon. Then, to my left there was a farm-looking house in the distance.

This can't be? It's-it's so beautiful. I've never seen so many colours. This can't possibly be the world that disgusting guy who keeps invading my mind was talking about. It can't be. It's too vibrant and peaceful. He must live in an alternate universe or something because, this sure ain't in hell it.

"Hello? Who are you?" A young girls voice asked.

I jumped and looked behind me, but no one was there.

"Hello, where did you go?" I said looking around, knowing for a fact I was not imaginging hearing a small girls voice.

She's fast.

"Tell me your name?" She answered a question with a question.

"Uhm, my name is Crystal, Rosalia Maysh. Who might you be?" I replied with a question.

Wait!! The Crystal? This can't be real. I am in the presence of Crystal Maysh! This is such a dream come true! I cannot believe this, I cannot believe it is really you."

Wait? The Crystal Maysh, what does she mean?

I still couldn't point where she had hid herself, but she seemed so happy to know who I was. Although, I am puzzled how she knew of me.

"If you know who I am, please show yourself. I am starting to get dizzy here." I replied.

Does everyone seem to know me?

all of a sudden, I get a hug from behind and I squealed in fright.

"Don't scare me like-" I cut off my sentence due to glancing at a beautiful young girl. She had lovely silver hair that reached the middle of her back. Her eyes were a piercing green and her smile was so radiant. Almost as radiant as the beautiful sunset that gleamed in the far reaches of the plains.

She reminded me of my sister, but I would guess, she was a few years younger than Serenity.

"Hi, sorry about that, where are my manners? My name is Celia," she curtseyed and continues "and over there on the porch is my brother, but i guess you know that, as  you have already met him."

"I have?" I questioned, trying to squint in the direction of the house.

"Yep! man, has he ever talked a lot about you, I think he may even have a crush on you, hehe." She giggled.

He walked off the porch and came closer to us and I smiled as I replied to her,

"Oh, is that so?"

He seemed as fast a his sister because, in no time he reached us and started tickling her. He was tall, probably 6'3" if I had to guess.

Let me tell you; the mirror never did him justice, but his eyes were just as I remembered, ocean-blue.

This man is so damn handsome. It hurts a little, maybe even a lot.

He laughed,

"Celia doesn't know what she's saying half the time, don't listen to her."

No way he could hear us from all the way over there. does he like have super hearing or something?

He stared at me and watched my long brunette hair blowing in the warm breeze.

"Earlier, you wanted to know my name, I guess it's only fitting to tell you, since you are in here in the flesh."

"I mean, that would be nice, if you wouldn't mind." I answered.

"My name is Elliot," he extends out his hand placed it on his chest and bows his head, and looks up to me and continues, "nice to meet you."

"So, you are the man in the mirror huh, well took you long enough." I said with some sass.

"Haha, I guess so, but, before I say anything more, how in the world did you get here and what happened to your sister?"

"How did I get here, well duh, it was you who helped me of course." I snorted.

"I-" He was confused and didn't know what to say.

"Wait, you didn't bring me here? I heard your voice and the mirror shifted into somewhat of a portal, so I thought you opened it for me to pass through?"

Omg, the doctor was just about to tell me about dark magic! I have to get back, before he finds out I am not there anymore.

"I need to get back to her! Serenity is in coma. I fell into this field and there is no mirror here." I was freaking out.

"Coma you say? What the hell happened and in regards to how you got here, perhaps this was apart of the power you wield, or worse, but there's not time to think about any of that right now, what matters is we get you back to Serenity, she could be in grave danger."

Power? What in the hell is he going on about. Me? Having powers, that's absurd! Besides, ai am too worried about my sister, to be worried about me having powers or not.

"Please help me get back!"
