Ares Pov
I signed the contract.
Of course I did, it was hardly a thought, I signed the paper, and I loved the terms of work.
When Bluejay called, I told her the whole story, she squealed so hard in my ear that I'd wanted to hang up on her.
I would be given free rein and practically unlimited resources, I'd get a nice salary to make my life smoother.
The evening before my first day, I spent hours in the gym next to my apartment, I had moved out of Mr and Mrs Spencer's house and sure I've been missing the free gym, although gym membership was not expensive, it still cost a lot since i had worked part time In a restaurant as a waiter but now, I've gotten an 100 thousand dollars job I didn't even care about the little cost of the gym.
At 19 I was already bound to be richer than most adults. Left home at the age of 16, three years ago, three years since I last heard from sirius, I did stop trying to call her, but she was in my thoughts most times, gym and coding had helped to get her out of my thoughts.
I walked into the large lobby in a black suit, it wasn't anything sophisticated, I wasn't trying to impress anybody. I didn't want to stand out but how could I not, when I had a personal office, and I did probably be the youngest coder in the company.
I walked in with head held high, a woman intercepted me. "Mr Ares?"
"Yes."
"I am Diane, I am to take you to your office."
"Okay."
I followed her as she took me towards my office, we walked pass a big office, The windows weren't opened but the wall was glass, so there was nothing much to be hidden. There was a wide array of table with people walking at computers. They didn't look up as we passed. I saw energy drinks on almost every table.
Good, I would fit right with the atmosphere of this place.
Diane showed me to my office, it had glass walls like the rest of the offices, a table stood in between the office.
She dropped a stack of papers on the table. "Here's all the information you might want on this company and some things you need to work on."
"Thanks."
"IT will be up here in a bit to set up your company computer and cell phone."
"Okay."
She later showed me to the company break room and the restroom, which I might need.
When I got back to my office, the computers were already installed, settling down, I read through all the information on Montgomery Industry. I got an email on my some codes I needed to work on and probably leave it without bugs. I could finish that before I left for my apartment.
It took longer than expected to finish the coding, I stayed late at work just to finish, and when I was done I emailed it back to the director's assistant.
