Chapter 16

An aged man stood before a couple of men in suits. From the look they all gave him, he was clearly respected.

"As you all know, I will be stepping down from the reins of the industry's branch I head." He continued "I'm too old to continue, so I am hereby stepping down." He said.

Another man stood up. " Mr Norman, we know you want to step down, but everyone of us has a branch we currently heading, there is no one available to take over your branch." He said

Every other person nodded, they couldn't head more than one branch.

"You have to choose to head it on your behalf instead." another man said, shrugging

"But I don't think I have someone that can take

"You have to choose one and pass him atleast 15 percent of your shares, if not everything.

"But..."

"Mr Norman, you can't step down, without leaving someone to care for your branch." He continued "Think about it, it could be one of the workers in your branch that you trust and know that he can handle the company." A man in blue suit said

"I think I have someone, who I'm sure can lead the company."

"Who?" The men all asked, more or less in unison.

"It's..."

...

Ares walked into his office surprised to find another person there.

"why are you in my office?" He asked in annoyance."

The young man was in his office told him that the director wanted him in his office. At first Ares thought he was about to be fired, but he was a valuable asset, there was no reason for the director to fire him.

He camly walked to the director office demanding why there was another person in his office, but he was left shocked by what he was told.

"You are the new head of this company." The old director told him.

Ares smiled, the kind of one that expressed happiness and joy and every other positive emotion someone could possibly feel.

He remembered a quote, one he heard a long time ago;"

Nothing stops the man who desires to achieve. Every obstacle is simply a course to develop his achievement muscle. It's a strengthening of his powers of accomplishment." ~ Thomas Carlyle

He did accomplish what he wanted but he wasn't done, he hungered for more.
