Chapter 17

Ava...

Monsters were real, I'd saw mine, it was evil and well sexy. I chuckled looking at the painting, I'd painted him again, the monster that lurked my nightmare, the one that roamed my mind, that one that wrote my song or maybe... a god.

"Ava, you should get ready, the show Is starting soon and the audience are ready" my manager, Jada said.

"Let me apply a few light touches and I will be good to go" I replied.

"okay then, the fans are waiting."

I chuckled, it was a long way from the starting line and now I was here a singer, that held countless tours. The fans loved and adored me. I wasn't ready to let them down.

I looked at the painting again, it was beautiful, he was beautiful.

I sigh realising monster never got to know I sang, but I was sure he knew, he knew too many things, even things that were supposed to be hidden.

I walked into my bathroom, a relaxing shower was always needed before a show.

...

The fans screamed my name, an I was here to give them a performance they couldn't forget with my new song. 'hanged painting'.

'Broken hearted and lonely'

'Scenes of love flash between my eyes'

'soul dying slowly'

'Feeling pangs of pain'

'Heart heavy and lame'

The audience went silent as the song continued, they all felt different emotions but the song was going through, they could feel every word she uttered.

'Our love story seems to come to an end

'But I can't seem to forget you'

'Can't seem to forget your eyes'

'It lives in my mind like an hanged painting'

The fans screamed this time and some were already too emotional.

'If only I had a chance'

'to hold you and tell you I love you'

'if only you'd never left'

'but now I realise I just wasn't enough'

'I pushed you away I'm sorry'

'but can't you atleast forgive'

Most fans were already teary eyed at this point, and some already in tears.

'Our love story seems to come to an end'

'But I can't seem to forget you'

'Can't seem to forget your eyes'

'it lives in my mind like an hanged painting'

'I wish it never ended'

'I wish you always loved me'

'You are not here'

'Yet you haunt my nightmares'

'I loved you before I knew you'

'And I love you even now that you have left me'

'You live in my mind, like an hanged painting'

The crowd let out a loud roar as she finished the show.

...

"Are you ready to meet the Ceo of Montgomery tech industry?" Jada asked

"Yes, you know this is important to me." I say.

"Your goal to create an app?"

"Yes to create an app for art merchandising and to promote young artists 🎨, Montgomery tech as great reputation in app developing."

"I understand." Jada smiled.

"Anyways I heard the Ceo is also the new owner of this branch?"

"Yes he his"

"I heard his young, can I see his picture?" I asked curiously

"You will see him here anyways" she replied

We walked in to a very wide office. The receptionist who guided us knocked on the glass yet not transparent door, a detached voice answered.

"Come in."

We walked and I stood mouth agape.

"Monster" I blurted out
