The esoterification of the continent had a more pronounced effect on the war than even the Ecologer had extrapolated. The beasts and monsters had gained such a tremendous advantage from having their native environments take over the Human Domain that it exceeded even their wildest expectations.
The war became an avenue for Darwinian Evolution by serving as a filter of natural selection. Species that were able to adaptively evolve by utilizing the esoterified parts of the continent to recuperate, heal, and even grow stronger were likelier to survive and reproduce.
Because the state of frenzy they were in pushed them to reproduce aggressively, in the span of ten years, they had grown into a majority among the beasts and monsters that attacked the borders of human territories.
