Think What To Do

MASKS TO UNVEIL! CHAPTER 11: Think What To Do

Naxzi returned to Sencha's room when night came and breathed out. Sanc bowed behind him and reported,

"The guards and the maid are still getting beaten up, Your Highness. Should we continue?" Sanc was worried that those people would die if the punishers didn't stop whipping them. Naxzi looked back and asked, "Do you think if they won't die, Loushin will still accept them?"

Sanc tilted his head in amusement. What does the crown prince mean?

Naxzi leaned back on the wheelchair and retracted his hand that was touching her hair, putting them away from her face. He breathed out deeply. Sanc then spoke, "What… Do you mean, Your Highness?"

Naxzi twirled his wheelchair around and smirked at Sanc. "Sometimes, it's fun to entertain yourself."

Sanc's eyes lit up and was astonished. His eyes were shining as if they had seen something brilliant and radiant. He clasped his hands together and squealed.

"Do-does that mean… I can kill them?" Sanc's eyes shone and Naxzi hit his head at his absurdity.

"Stop dreaming, will you?"

Sanc rubbed his pitiful face and pouted. Why is his highness so mad? His expression was ugly too, and it hasn't recovered from the anger he had towards Loushin. Sanc then glanced at Naxzi's wife and nodded his head. He concluded that the crown prince had once again fallen for his first love, who can't help but love his wife.

But on the other hand, Sanc was unhappy for the fact that someone tried to kill his master's wife so immediately. He was so furious that he had dug the skin on his palm.

"Tell Loushin that his servants had died due to their master's foolishness."

Sanc punched his other hand with delight and smiled terrifyingly. "Your Highness, shall I really kill them? It has been a long time since I killed someone…"

Naxzi pondered for a while and then uttered, "No, don't kill anyone. You must tell the guards why we spared them and for that maid… let her kneel in front of Sencha's room until my wife wakes up."

Sanc was a bit stunned when he heard that and was excited. "Yes, I will do exactly that!"

Naxzi waved his hands as if motioning him to move quicker and Sanc vanished into thin air afterwards. Naxzi turned to his wife and opened his hand. Suddenly, there was a white power coming out from his hand and he touched Sencha's hand.

Sencha's hand glowed and after a while, the frown on her forehead disappeared and he let out a sigh of relief.

"Why are you making me worry, really."

Naxzi helplessly said and his head hurts. He lowered his head and rested it on his palm. He felt tired. Seriously, his wife in front of him is soundly asleep yet he was in a situation where he was fighting with the beast inside him- whether to kiss her or look at her.

He had never felt like this before. It had been too long since they last saw each other. Why does he feel this way? But he wasn't displeased about it. On the other hand, he couldn't move on from the fact that the empress talked with his wife and warned her about Loushin.

Did his mother not know that Sencha was his first love? And even though it was in the past, he still couldn't understand why his heart wanted her more. Did he really move on or was it his imagination?

".. I still like you?" He muttered and blinked. His cheeks then were suddenly painted red and he covered his face. After blushing for a while, he let out a long exhale and asked Sencha, while touching her hair.

"Then why can't you remember me?" It was a voice filled with sadness, yet no one heard him, even if it was his beloved wife, who was in deep slumber.

He felt that it was too unfair because he was the only one who remembered all those precious memories they had. He knew that it was when they were children, it was all golden for him. If possible, can both of them reminisce about the past?

"What… am I thinking…?"

He let out a resigned voice.
