starting over - the first day
Calix opened his eyes and he got up and when he saw himself in the mirror
he smiled at his reflection and yes vampires in this universe have a reflection
he was a vampire a demon and an alpha the most fearsome combination
when he grabbed his phone he saw the date
It was the first day he became the owner of the company
so currently he wasn't in the building
he made sure to call his uncle and he drove him to the company
the employees who had been working there recently were disappointed
to have a new boss who was younger what did a kid know?

and today he met a few new empolyees and welcomed them with open arms
his first employee was David
"I would to like from home if that is alright? I'll make sure to join every meeting virtually "
"as long as you do your work and send it to me via email then you're good so your hired" Calix replied
"Thank you so much you won't regret it"
"don't worry about and from here on I think of you as my brother and treat you as such"
and always will and David did everything as he was supposed he was another dedicated worker and always appreciated him but there was one that he wished
that he had and now he was right in front of him
he felt his heartbeat

Macciato looked up at him confused
"something wrong?" he asked
"nope everything is perfectly fine Macciato" Calix replied
his eyes widen he he said my name!
"did you- just say my name?" he asked
"Yes I did- I read it on your profile-" Calix replied
he was bluffing he never read those things
"oh so then you're going to hire me?" he asked
"of course" Calix replied

luckily he had already left before had said that
he never understood it but after that day he had a rut

he didn't want things to be like before it was almost happy but there were still some problems and misunderstandings
he knew that he couldn't make everything perfect but he would try his best
his omega came in for his day of work and he did everything he was suppose to once calix had explained it to him and he was able to finish it all
"I noticed that there were papers in your office that needed work can I do them for you?" he replied
"Of course but if it's too much to handle you can just call me there's a phone on your desk and it has the direct number that is to my private office and if you need anything just call" Calix replied
and I mean anything
"Alright thanks boss-" he replied
"You can call me Calix or if you like you can call me Lix for short-" Calix replied
"I'll just call you Calix and um you said my name before perfectly no one has been able to and how did you know how to?" He replied
"That's a secret of mine Macciato-" Calix whispered in his ear

he felt his heartbeat and he felt himself heat up
when Calix walked away he relaxed
Calix let out a laugh seeing how red his omega became
what the heck was that? why is my heart beating so fast?
just because he said my name so perfectly- and he whispered it in my ear-
something feels off about him but I'm reacting this way why?
and I was even turned on by it !
I felt so happy the first time he said my name-but it still was strange and he didn't read a single of those resumes and I was afraid that He wouldn't notice me but
he's really nice to me too nice-should I run away? no, I can't I wouldn't have a job and I'm a complete nobody no one knows anything about me
and I barely know anything about myself my father never told me anything about my mother only blamed me for her death-
I of course made up everything on my resume even my last name since I don't really have one
and I'm glad he didn't really pay attention to it
It just begs the question how does he know my name? or how to pronounce it
Calix knew exactly what he was thinking how did he know his name?
well we had a past life together if I told him that he say that I was crazy
but how else would I know his name or how to pronounce it?
I mean I was stalking him before but I didn't actually know it was him
I believed he was the girl of my dreams my future wife and in a sort of way he kinda was and I lost him- ha I never deserved him-
but I love him so much- I wish that we could have a perfect life together
but is such a thing possible? I barely paid attention to him and they say you never know what you have until it's gone and I'm not going to make that mistake again

why am I asking? you will love me it has to work out that way- or will I have to keep trying over and over again?
