The Lee family pitied her and took her in. Weeks passed and the Lee were doing better in the stocks. The family regained their position. They were living a happy life until one day some anonymous people invaded the Lee mansion and began attacking everybody. Mr. Lee asked Mr. Park to safeguard the children. While everyone was fighting for their lives Mr. Park helped the little girls to escape.

He left them at different place. When he came back no one was there. Mr. Park broke up into tears when Moss. Chae Yeong got out from behind a closet. Her eyes were red. Mr. Park quickly got up and went to her.

Miss Chae Yeong became mentally ill. After sometime of the incident Miss Yeong began doing weird things. She would scream while sitting alone and often break the mirrors on the wall. Her attitude was disturbing. She consulted many doctors but all in vain.

One day when she was sitting in the balcony Mr. Park arrived. He had been very cooperative towards her but today he broke into tears. He told her how his heart broke when he left those little girls at random doorstep or how that young girl got shot for him. Miss Chae Yeong teared up and hugged Mr. Park.

Afterwards she accepted the fact. One day Mr. Park asked Miss Yeong what happened to Mr. and Mrs. Lee to which she sternly replied that they were both taken away by them and she was injected by a drug that turned her weak from the inside. So, she only had a few years to live. At the last words she cried. Mr. Park and Miss Yeong enjoyed a brief moment before Mr. Park stated that he will bring the girls back to the mansion. From that day onwards he began searching for the ladies of the Lee's until one day he discovered about Aye Chul and Aye Ri. He got to know that they were given a different name and surname. Soon he adopted Little Aye Chul back."

Aye Ri with teary eyes replied that's our real past? To which Mr. Park sternly nodded without showing a single emotion. Haeri and the others hugged him. Soon the girls fell asleep while Jennie was the only one still awake. She asked Mr. Park is he loved her mother to which he casually said Yess. Jennie inquired more by asking if her mother knew. To which he also nodded. He then asked Jennie to come closer and took a picture out of his wallet. In the picture Miss. Chae Yeong was smiling brightly with Mr. Park. He then concluded that her mother was too loyal to his birth father so she said she would need some time to move on. Although it was painful seeing her like this, I agreed to her. But till this day we never got to officialize our feelings. Jennie embraced Mr. Park and called him Dad. To which Mr. Park's heart melted and tears rolled down his cheek.
