Surge

They were like two sparks colliding together and lighting a fire on their own.

Blair would have very much liked to fan herself, but both of her hands were stuck along her sides. No sooner than she lamented this thought, she suddenly felt a light, cold breeze skimming her neck and cheek as if her silent wish had somehow been granted. She shivered, and it took her a moment to realize that the slight, windy blow was coming from Cadmus.

"W-What are you doing?" Blair stammered out, her voice barely above a whisper, and blinked at him with wide eyes.

Cadmus shrugged, and it somehow made him move even closer in a way she never thought was physically possible. "I'm trying to cool you down."

'You're not cooling me down! You're warming me up!' Blair internally cried out, biting hard on her tongue so as not to accidentally blurt it out.
