Irresistible

Blair smiled against Cadmus's hair and sighed, "Well, if that's true, then it's a wonderful way to die."

He grunted in response, levering himself off her and collapsing onto the shelf of the rock. She straightened up, and with a giggle, peppered a few kisses on his cheek.

"We should get back now. It's starting to get dark up here, and I'm getting hungry again." Blair slipped from the ledge and began to swim to the shore.

Cadmus opened an eye and glowered. "How is it you can do that, and I'm too exhausted to move?"

"I guess women are just better at some things than men," she quipped with a chortle. "Get a move on, Cadmus. I'm really starving."

Cadmus grumbled and dove into the water. By that point, Blair had reached the pebbly shore.

"It's only fair, you know. You've satisfied your appetite. Now, it's time to satisfy mine."
