Serena and Halstead were talking downstairs.

Cadmus listened silently while steadying himself against a wall. "Do you have everything on the list?" Serena inquired. There's a sound of a heavy-duty zipper being undone. "Everything except the sticking plasters. We are out of them," Halstead responded. Cadmus imagined that they must be packing a bag.

"He's still probably tired from watching over me. Yesterday, he had a headache. We shouldn't be encouraging him to leave just yet," said Serena in a worried tone.

"Of course, he can do what he wants. But you know as well as I do, and this is for the best. At least, he won't be leaving us like back then. It's our turn to do something," Halstead remarked firmly.
