LIES

"Cassie, hello, Earth to Cassie," Ava called out waving her hands in Cassie's face. She had asked Cassie for suggestions on what they could add but when her friend wasn't responding she looked over and saw that she was just staring into space and rarely even blinking. "Are you okay Cassie?" She asked when Cassie finally snapped out of it " You seem a little bit off today, is everything okay?."

They were past hiding things from each other at this point so she opened up "I got this text from Brian a while ago, and I haven't responded. " She said as she passed the phone to Ava and bit her nails. "I just feel like his tone seems a bit off, you know, kind of Different. And I've never heard him speak in such an uptight tone to me. That's why I zoned out. I'm thinking is there anything reason why he should be mad at me? Is he even mad at me?"
