First Mission

After Minato told Riku about the mission, he gave Riku 20 minutes to go prepare and meet back up near the village gate. Riku's ninja tools and bag were already packed and ready to go waiting for this moment. Though he needed to do something first.

"Aunt Hina I'm leaving for a mission!"

"Outside the village! You're doing that already, don't you think you should wait a little longer?"

"It's time that I get to go be a ninja."

"I understand just please, please be careful"

"I will, I promise," Riku said.

After reassuring his aunt a thousand times he had to go. Riku rushed over to the gate and saw Minato standing there waiting.

"Where's the client Minato-sensei?" Riku asked Minato.

"Over there, they're the ones with the caravan"

"Ok, should we go talk to him now?"

"Yes, stay next to me and let me do the talking,"

"Yes Minato-sensei".

"Hello, Mr. Suziki we are the ninjas assigned to escort you," Minato said with a welcoming smile towards the client.

"Oh, I knew I should've paid more money for this," Mr.Suziki scoffed.

"I'm sorry?" Minato was confused.

"They assigned a kid to be my escort."

"I can assure you that Riku has the sufficient strength to be doing this mission,"

"He better, or there will be hell to pay" Mr. Suziki threatened before he got into the caravan.

Riku and Minato looked at each other dumbfounded then along with Mr.Suziki set off towards Hacho village. Around halfway there Minato sensed a group of chakra's nearby.

"There's a total of 5 ninjas, 2 have Jonin levels of chakra, and 2/3 of the others are Genin, while the last one is a Chunin," Minato warned Riku.

"OK Minato-sensei"

The 5 ninjas came out of the woods and stood in front of the caravan blocking the way from being accessed. Riku and Minato could see that from their outfits they were from the Hidden Sand Village.

"Why are you sand ninjas here in the Land of Fire?" Minato questioned.

"That should not be your concern right now it should be on living," one of the Jonins replied.

Minato took out a weird-shaped kunai and threw it at the Jonin who had just spoken. The Jonin deflected it with a kunai of his own causing Minato's Kunai to fall right next to his feet.

"That's it? I thought you would be bett...:" The Jonin didn't have time to finish that sentence as Minato used Flying Thunder God to teleport to the kunai and slit the Jonin's throat.

"What Just...I'll attack him you fight that kid over there, then come join me after you're done," ordered the other Jonin.

The other 3 ninjas rushed toward Riku wanting to end this as fast as possible. Too bad for them Riku was not some ordinary kid ninja. He was going to be the strongest ninja, and how can you be the strongest ninja without getting combat experience in a life or death situation.

Riku made a sign and then disappeared right in front of them, one of the Genins saw something coming from the corner of his eye and heard Riku say "Rasengan". That was a full softball-size Rasengan, not the small one he used at the graduation exam or against Minato. This Rasengan was meant to kill and it did. It hit the Genin in the ribs shattering all of them and puncturing his organs killing him instantly.

Riku turned toward the Chunin and other genin and used "Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique" on the Chunin catching him off-guard and dragging him into the ground. He sprinted towards him and decapitated him with a kunai. Lastly was the Genin, who looked at Riku like he was a demon.

Riku used his full speed and got to the Genin very fast, then punched him in the stomach and used the same kunai to stab him in the head. Seeing that he was done Riku was ready to go help Minato, he saw that Minato was already long done.

"How are you feeling Riku," Minato asked knowing that Riku just killed for the first time.

"I'm doing better than I thought I would but I still feel kinda sick" He groggily replied.

"It gets easier, the way I think about it is that if I didn't kill them they would kill me or worse someone I care about a lot," Minato tried to reassure Riku that he did nothing wrong.

They then carried on with the mission and got Mr. Suziki to Hacho Village safe and sound.

But before they left they got more money than originally promised because the mission had to get bumped up a B-tier. Riku and Minato got back to Konoha without any problems. Riku now knew what a real battle was like and wanted to focus on his training right now.
