Once she returned home after  5 years, Cambry learned that the only opinion that she needed to worry about was her own. After being controlled for years, she's finally put her foot down and take control back in her own life.

I know I shouldn't have, but once she fell asleep, I got up from the bed and called Tara. 


"Hello?" She asks, her voice energetic. 


"I need to see you," I tell her, stepping out of the room to Cambry's balcony. 


"Right now?" She asks, seeming worried. 


"Yes," I told her. "Right now," I finished. 


"The park closest to Cambry's house," I tell her, desperately. 


"Meet you there then," She says before hanging up. 


As the call ended, I changed into my clothes and left, I'll hopefully be back before Cambry wakes up. 


I grabbed my keys before leaving through the balcony doors. 


Why are you leaving mate? My wolf asks, worriedly. 


Shush I tell him as I begin my drive to the park. 


As I got out of my car, I saw Tara sitting in a swing, so I began walking toward her. 


"I missed you," I tell her, wrapping my arms around her.
