CHAPTER 21

Nivaan’s POV

When I regained consciousness, I found myself bound by silver chains. If they were ordinary chains, I would have managed to free myself but these chains; they were definitely forged with some other material.

The clanking of the chains was more like heavy clanks as compared to the characteristic ringing sound of silver. My eyebrows furrowed as I looked around. The room was dark, dingy, and with loads of crates piling to the ceiling.

I closed my eyes and drew deep breaths. The air was stale, musty like this place had been closed for a very long time. There was also a sharp, pungent odor I couldn’t place my finger on. My sense of smell and hearing had been diminishing from the time I got back my eyesight.

I almost laughed at the irony. When I was blind, no one had dared to lay a finger on me. But, someone had managed to capture me within a week of getting my eyesight back. Probably, I was more skilled as a Blind Alpha.
