Chapter 75: Mansion

I gaped at his hands, fighting with my soul and mind whether should I take it or not. I glanced back at the house behind him, narrowing my eyes and looking through the windows to see if there was some ghost. However, I didn't sense or see anything strange. Just curious why there's a mansion in the middle of the woods. I sighed in defeat and then let myself get dragged by him.

Ethan was whistling a tune I didn't recognize when we stepped on the porch, observing the design of the wooden entrance doors before us. I raised my hand and then caressed the door, wiping off some dust particles. Bobby was on my right side, sitting and waiting for something to happen. I leaned my head and then patted him on the head. He's a good boy for finding out about this house.

There is no threat up ahead since Bobby isn't barking like a feral beast. I looked up again, then caught Ethan by my side, finding a way to get inside the house.
