 The plan had begun right from the moment Akira made that slip up by giving out their identities. It wasn't head scratcher from then on what they needed to do. The only missing item in their plan was communication, and that was where a certain annoying voice came through for Rodney. 


"You know the Rings are bonded to your DNA right?" Gypson said to Rodney. He had been silent for a while listening to all the plans Rodney was simulating in his head and they all came down to getting the others to play along. Each time he came to that stop, he would restart the plan to see how he could eliminate the others out of it and just go solo. But it seemly looked like he wouldn't be able to do this one on his own.
