Kunoichi Tactics : Graduation exam

Finally, graduation was upon us. I was certain I'd end up on the same team as Sasuke and Naruto—destined to be Team 7, despite Naruto's unfortunate 'dead last' status due to Mizuki's interference. Tomorrow, however, held an entirely different challenge: the Kunoichi tactics exam.

The clan kids, unsurprisingly, were exempt from this spectacle, which immediately raised my suspicions. The academy had set up a special exam just for us civilian-born students, and I had a sinking feeling about what it entailed.

When Akira-sensei strolled in to explain, our collective faces morphed into a blend of confusion and horror. Apparently, we were supposed to showcase our 'seduction talents' to a random Jonin. And guess what? Only the civilian-background kids had to go through this peculiar rite of passage.

The plan was to pick a Jonin's name from a jar, and tomorrow, I'd have to put my newfound 'skills' into practice. I was supposed to approach this Jonin, flirt my way through, and then retreat gracefully. It sounded like a bad dream but with a real risk of failing my chance at becoming a Kunoichi of the Year and being assigned to Team 7.

The morning sun had barely made its way through the curtains when I headed to the academy, praying not to draw a familiar name. My anxiety levels were at an all-time high. I stood in front of Akira-sensei's desk, trying to steady my shaking hands as I drew a name from the jar.

My heart nearly stopped when I saw the name: Itachi Uchiha. Of all people, Itachi? Why did the universe choose him? Akira-sensei snapped me out of my daze and informed me that Itachi would be at a bar near the Akimichi clan quarters. An instructor would shadow me to ensure my safety, which was some consolation.

So, I steeled myself for what was to come. I slipped into the Kunoichi room, selected a dress, and did a transformation jutsu. Now, I was ready to face the daunting task. I arrived at the bar, heart pounding, only to find Itachi at a table, clearly inebriated. My plan was simple: flirt, then escape.

I took a deep breath, walked over, and sat down next to him, my pulse racing. "Hey, handsome," I said, trying to sound casual despite the pounding in my chest.

"Hn," he replied, barely glancing up.

I refilled his glass and took a sip, trying to look nonchalant. "You don't mind that I took a sip, right?" I asked, with a nervous chuckle. To my horror, I poked his forehead in what I hoped was an innocent gesture.

As I tried to make my getaway, Itachi's hand shot out, grabbing mine and pulling me closer. Before I could protest, he drew me onto his lap, his face dangerously close to mine. And then, to my utter shock and dismay, he kissed me.

My brain short-circuited, and all I could think was: "This was NOT what I signed up for!" As I tried to process the whirlwind of emotions, I could only hope that Akira-sensei would give me credit for attempting to complete the task and somehow, this experience wouldn't ruin my chances with Team 7.
