A month of training to escape a snake

The month leading up to the Chunin Exams kicked off with high spirits and intense schedules. The Uchiha training field, usually a picture of discipline, buzzed with activity as Itachi introduced our new mentors.

"This is Jiraiya of the Sannin and Kakashi Hatake, the Copy Ninja," Itachi began. "Naruto, Jiraiya-sama will further your fuinjutsu studies from 8 to 11 in the morning. Sasuke, you will split your time between me and Anko for Sharingan training. Sakura, you'll train with Kakashi on kenjutsu. When Kakashi is unavailable, you'll receive training from the hospital poison specialist. Afternoons are yours for self-training. We'll have weekly sparring sessions with the three of us. Training starts tomorrow. Use today to review the scrolls you've been given. We'll meet here at 8."

After handing out the scrolls, the trio vanished in a blur of motion, leaving us both excited and a little daunted.

"It's finally happening!" Naruto exclaimed, his enthusiasm palpable. "This is going to be awesome!"

I couldn't help but agree. I was confident in my chakra levels and was eager to finally learn how to use shadow clones effectively. I asked Naruto to teach me and Sasuke the technique. Given our chakra levels, I could manage up to three clones while Sasuke could manage one.

"Alright, let's get this down," I said, rolling up my sleeves. "We'll need all the help we can get."

Naruto grinned. "You bet! Shadow clones are a game-changer. And I've got a few tricks to share that will make this process smoother."

Two hours later, our shadow clone techniques were solid. I parted from Naruto and Sasuke for a bit of training shopping. I added extra weight to my legs and bracers to my arms to enhance my training efficiency.

Back at home, I made two shadow clones. Clone 1 was assigned to research poisons, and Clone 2 would focus on the scroll Kakashi provided. I then sprinted through the training grounds, ears tuned for the familiar cry of "YOUTH!"

When I finally located Gai and his team, I approached them.

"HOOO... KONOHA'S YOUTHFUL SAKURA BLOSSOM! 100 PUSH-UPS RIGHT NOW!"

"Hai, Sensei!" I dropped to the ground and started pumping out push-ups with the speed and precision of a well-oiled machine.

"Oh no, not another one!" I heard a familiar feminine voice. Turning, I saw Tenten approaching.

"Hi, Tenten-senpai! I've heard a lot about you from Lee-senpai. I'm Haruno Sakura from Team 7. Nice to meet you!"

Tenten smiled, her amusement evident. "Nice to meet you too, Sakura. Lee has told us all about your dedication. You're in for quite a ride with Gai."

"Ano, Gai-sensei, may I rejoin your morning training session from 5 to 7?" I asked, hoping for a positive response.

"SUCH YOUTH!!! SPLENDID!" Gai's eyes lit up with pride. "I WILL YOUTHFULLY RUN 200 LAPS AROUND KONOHA TO COMMEMORATE!"

"GAI-SENSAI!" Lee and I shouted in unison, caught up in his infectious enthusiasm.

"LEE... SAKURA... ONWARDS!" Gai commanded, and off we went, racing through the village with the boundless energy only Gai could inspire.

Training with Guy was an exhausting, exhilarating experience. Each session felt like a test of endurance and willpower, punctuated by Gai's shouts of encouragement and his own extreme workouts.

Once the training session ended, I headed home, where my parents had returned for the Chunin Exams period. I used the quiet evening to finalize my training schedule. My plan included early morning sessions with Guy, followed by Kakashi's kenjutsu training and hospital shifts. Clone 1 would focus on chakra control, Clone 2 on poison research, and Clone 3 on lightning affinity. In the afternoons without hospital shifts, I'd work on Genjutsu with Itachi, practice Yin-Yang chakra, and engage in mock battles with Sasuke and Naruto.

Sparring with the sensei trio was both exhilarating and punishing. I found myself pushed to my limits, but each session improved my reflexes, tactics, and teamwork.
