I was desperate for a touch of him. His body was already pressed up against mine so it was easy to grind into him.
"Calm down little mate. You wanted to take things slow remember?" He whispered in my ear before sucking on my ear lobe.
A whine escaped me as he stepped away from me. He had a smirk on his face as he looked at my neck where I was sure I had multiple hickeys. Before I could even register what happened I was on top of the sink countertop and he was in front of me.
He had my face in his hand and was staring down at me. My legs were spread so he was in-between them and close to me. My core heated just from him being close to me. His head dipped again and this time mine went to his. His kiss was passionate and soft. Our lips fit together like a puzzle piece and the sparks were a whole new intensity. My hand went up and held the back of his head to keep him near me.
His tongue prodded at my lips making my mouth open on its own. He groaned as his tongue entered my mouth. His tongue freely explored my mouth before he pulled away. I was panting harder than I realized. He pulled me to him and gently set me on the floor.
"You don't want to-" I started.
"Trust me little mate I want to. But I'd rather continue to be sick then push you to go faster than you wanted."
my eyes trailed down him, past his abs and past the happy v line pointing down his abdomen. He was hard and huge from the look of it through his pants. I swallowed and looked away.
"Then why kiss me? Why make the arousal even worse?"
"Because I needed you. We both needed this. I've wanted to do that since the moment I saw you that night. And anyway," he paused and lifted my chin with his finger. "When I take you little mate, it's not going to be in here and rushed. It going to be in that room when we have all the time in the world. So I can explore every inch of you."
I was liquid again and dropped my head. He laughed and began walking out. I trailed after him but not until I looked at the hickeys on my neck. Three of them. One on my shoulder and two on my neck. I shivered and rubbed my neck.
Mason looked a little less sick than before and was walking over to my suitcase and opened it. I ran over to hide my under things but he was already digging through my stuff.
"You don't really have many clothes do you?" He asked looking at me with an eyebrow raised.
"Well no...Tristan only bought me a couple outfits a year and I grew out of most of my clothes."
His eyes glowed, "I'll get you some more clothes soon."
"It's really not a problem Mason. The amount I have will suffice. It's enough."
"You are my mate Amora. You will have everything you need and more, not just enough." He said as he pulled out my clothes.
I pushed at him arm.
"What are you doing."
"You can't exactly keep all your clothes in this case forever. I have drawers for you."
"I can move them." I stuttered out.
His smirk was feline, "What? You don't want me to see your more personal clothes? I've already seen everything in this case little mate. I packed your stuff."
My face heated. We spent the next few days getting to know the pack and spending time with each other. He didn't kiss me again after that day. We both understood why.
----2 Weeks Later----
"I'm going to another pack dance soon. I don't want you to go until I clear up things with your pack and officially name you as my Luna." Mason said as he got ready to help the pack on a hunt.
I was about to protest when the door busted open. Misa ran in and whispered in Masons ear. His face turned serious quickly. He turned to me as Misa ran out and pulled me close to him.
"I'll be back in a couple hours."
"Why what's wrong."
"Just a rogue attack on the hunting party. I'll be back as soon as I deal with it."
Some part of me wanted to protest and tell him to stay with me but he was the alpha. It was his job to protect the pack. He turned without saying goodbye and ran after Misa. My gut twisted.
I walked over to the bed and sat down. I would wait for him. Tend to whatever wounds he had if he got any at all. It would be fine. My gut twisted the entire time though. It got worse twenty minutes later. I felt like I might throw up. I stood up and slowly made my way to the door.
I was almost to the kitchen when Misa's voice rang in my head. Rita was in front of me holding a water.
"Amora! If you can hear me, you need to close up the pack! Get everyone into the pack house and lock it up!"
"What's happening Misa?!"
"It was an ambush. Your old pack-" Her voice cut out for a second to finish fighting I assumed. I turned to Rita.
"Rita start locking all the doors to the pack house except for the front one." I yelled as I ran out of the pack and down to the cabins.
I screamed and yelled for everyone to get inside the pack house as I ran through the village. Many wolves exited their home and ran up to the pack house while others joined me and helped me spread word through the pack.
I finally stopped at the edge of the village and watched as the last of the wolves ran inside the pack house.
"Amora?! Are you okay?!" Misa asked through the mind link.
"Yes I am. I got everyone inside. How are you and Mason?"
"I'm fine for now. Mason made sure I got away but...he- There were so many wolves and he was still sick. I couldn't stop them-"
I didn't let her finish before I shifted and ripped through the woods. I followed their scent. I smelled Misa's blood first and then Masons. A lot of it. I spotted Misa up ahead and ran past her. I was only looking for Mason. His scent mixed with three others. I recognized them immediately. Beta Isaiah, Tristan, and Sarah. First I saw Mason. On the ground and bleeding. Then I saw Sarahs foot come in to kick him. Then I saw the bodies. Dozens of wolves from my old pack had been ripped apart. By my mate. He had fought hard but he couldn't fight them all off.
Tristan's laugh rang out as Sarah kicked my mate over and over. Isaiah didn't move or show any emotion. Sarah looked insane, her smile was wide and menacing as she kicked him. Her. She was going to die first. I grew up with Isaiah but it didn't matter. Tristan was my blood and my brother but it didn't matter. Sarah was the only kind person to me when she was the omega and she knew what I had been through and we had practically been sisters but that didn't matter either. The only thing that mattered was my dead mate. I wasn't sure he was breathing. Wasn't sure he was alive. there was so much blood.
I ran faster than I ever had and jumped at Sarah. No one had time to react before I had my teeth on her neck. I locked eyes with Tristan. His eyes showed fear. Fear of loosing his mate. Good.
"Amora please, don't-"
I locked my jaw on her neck and bit down. Tristan's scream shook the forest. Sarah went limp under me. Blood poured off my teeth as I approached Tristan. From behind me I heard Misa approach. I shifted back.
"You all are going to pay for what you did to my mate." I growled.
"You truly are the perfect match for the cruel alpha," Isaiah said from behind Tristan with a look on his face I couldn't register.
"How do you plan on taking us on Amora?! You have never trained Amora and this pathetic excuse of an alpha has been defeated. You're both weak."
His words rang through my body. Every word was emphasized with a kick at Mason and that insult that so many people had called me while beating me was now being used on my mate. A growl so loud and vicious escaped my lips. I had never made a sound like that so at first I wasn't sure it came from me.
I didn't need training to protect my mate. I acted on instinct alone. I looked to where Isaiah had been standing but he was gone. It was just me, Tristan, Misa and the few remaining wolves from my old pack.
