A Crying Emma

A certain young woman was looking at empty space as she kicked her legs up and down out of boredom.

'8190 Seduction Points, huh...' Sarah thought numbly.

'It's already been three days since I met Laurier. I wonder when that resupply caravan is going to arrive?' Sarah rolled in her bed at this thought.

"Um... hello! Can I come inside big sis," A voice was heard from behind the tent flaps.

Sarah looked over to her left and saw a silhouette of a petite girl behind the curtain.

Sarah closed the system and fixed her dress as she sat up and looked presentable for the person about to arrive.

"You can come in Emma," Sarah said in a calm voice.

Soon a girl walked through the tent flap showcasing her cute appearance with glistening pure eyes with her petite body highlighting those features.

"Um, you said you called me big sis?" Emma said with a nervous expression.

Sarah noticed Emma's nervousness and giggled to try and lighten the mood.

"Don't worry silly. I've you called to have a talk," Sarah said with a smile.

Emma calmed down for some reason after Sarah said that.

'I thought she was going to say she hated me!' Emma shouted the irrational thought in her mind.

Sarah was her first friend that she was close with outside the village, she didn't want this person to hate her no matter what.

Because of the slight fear, she had some irrational thoughts at certain times for no reason.

Sarah saw Emma standing in front of the bed as she looked at Sarah with a downtrodden expression.

Sarah flinched for a moment when she saw that expression.

"Did something happen, Emma?" Sarah asked with worry as she got up and held Emma's hands together.

Emma blushed and started panicking as she started stammering an excuse to Sarah.

"I-I U-um, I-I mean n-nothing happened to me!" Emma screamed in embarrassment to Sarah.

"O-oh I'm so sorry for screaming big sis..." Emma apologised anxiously to Sarah.

"...Are you okay?" Sarah asked after the momentary shock passed.

'Why in the world are you so jumpy!?' Sarah shouted in her mind out of frustration.

Emma's reactions were truly too explosive at the moment for Sarah.

"I-I'm so sorry big sis Sarah... nothing happened. I'm just not feeling well today..." Emma said in a sad tone to Sarah.

Sarah looked at Emma in confusion for some time, before it all snapped together!

'She's still thinking about our first time.' Sarah ascertained in her mind.

For a girl like Emma, it was normal to be nervous after having a night with someone they always loved. If Emma didn't have this reaction then it would've been more abnormal than not having any.

As she understood this, Sarah gave a gentle smile to Emma as she walked close to her and encased the young girl in a warm hug.

"Don't worry, I won't get mad. You can be safe here with me," Sarah said gently to Emma as she caressed her head like a child's.

Emma was frozen in shock and was about to stammer another excuse before Sarah tightened her embrace as she brought Emma closer.

"If you say nothing is wrong with you, then I'll believe it," Sarah said in a consoling way.

"But I would be very sad if something happened to you..."

Sarah paused for a moment before she continued her sentence.

"So don't be nervous around big sis, okay?" Sarah said to Emma as she finished her sentence.

For some reason, Emma started crying uncontrollably as she hugged Sarah tighter than even Sarah.

She cried for some unknown reason that she couldn't figure out. She only felt emotions. And reason wasn't going to help her.

She felt varying emotions that she couldn't understand. It was just so messed up in her heart.

She felt loneliness.

She felt a sense of loss.

She felt sad.

She felt guilt.

But more than that, she felt relief.

Relief that she finally wasn't alone anymore.

And along with that, she felt affection for her big sis.

She felt her big sis finally come back to her, while at the same time knowing she died years ago.

With such conflicting emotions that she had bottled up for years, Emma cried in Sarah's chest as the grief that she experience washed away with affection.

Affection for her new big sis...

Sarah had a bitter smile as she saw the crying Emma tightly hugging her.

'Maybe I shouldn't do the things I was thinking of doing...' Sarah thought as she looked at the sad and pitiful Emma.

Her instincts to protect Emma grew stronger as she looked at the weeping figure.

She didn't know why Emma was crying, but her intuition told her it was something important for her.

So Sarah didn't do anything except for hugging Emma during this special moment.

[Corruption of 'Emma' increased by 10%!]

'...'

'...what?' Sarah looked at the screen in horror.

'What do you mean Emma's corruption increased!'

'If anything, this should've already lowered the non-existent corruption she probably had!' Sarah said in her mind as a new screen popped up.

[...]

[Everything is calculated accurately. There is nothing wrong with the Corruption stat host.]

'What do you mean there's nothing wrong! How do you even calculate this shit!?' Sarah swore in her mind as she fumed with anger.

[...]

[The system cannot tell the host how the Corruption stat functions or how it is calculated.]

'How can you eve-...' Sarah paused as she thought for a moment before she shouted another sentence.

'I command you to tell me! I'll even pay Seduction Points...' Sarah pleaded in her mind.

[Calculating...]

[Information for Corruption is aproximately: 1,000,000,000 Seduction Points]

'...what the hell...'

Sarah looked at the crying Emma and the screen and decided to hug the girl before her tighter than before.

'Is the Corruption stat at least a negative stat...?' Sarah asked helplessly.

[...]

[The message from The Cultivating Seductress has been played...]

[It is a neutral stat, Sarah. It's only bad if you use it in a negative way.]

[But you probably don't seem convinced by that...]

[Well, I'll tell you just in case. It calculates the susceptibility of how much the person is willing to listen to you. See? Nothing bad.]

[If you use it positively, then it can be positive. If you use it in a negative way, then it can be negative.]

[All in all, don't think too much about it. Just focus on your current situation as this stat wouldn't matter anyway. Okay?]

[...The message from The Cultivating Seductress has ended]

Sarah took a deep breath as she processed all of the information that was just told.

'So it's not negative...?' Sarah thought in her mind as she gave out a sigh of relief.

'I'll believe what The Cultivating Seductress tells me. She wouldn't do this for my harm in the first place,' Sarah believed as she looked away from the screen and loosened her grip on Emma.

Emma soon stopped crying as she separated herself from Sarah's comforting embrace.

"I'm so sorry for crying like that. I don't know what happened," Emma told Sarah in a calm tone.

'She seems to have relaxed now,' Sarah thought in her mind as she looked at Emma.

"Don't worry about it. Let's go get some food shall we?" Sarah said as she dragged Emma towards the tent entrance.

"Un, okay..." Emma nodded as she said in a quiet voice as she followed along with Sarah.

Sarah wanted to speak to Emma about her views of Sarah using her body, but it seems that today wasn't the right time.

So she took Emma to the canteen as they ate some food together and talked to some women sitting around their tents.

Sarah looked after Emma the entire time as she slowly saw the girl smiling again after a while of talking with other people.

Soon, Sarah left Emma alone as she watched Emma talk with all of the women they met afterwards. Showing a smile the entire time.

'She should feel better now. People are the best antidote for sadness after all,' Sarah thought with pride of her wisdom.

She looked at the laughing women and Emma and decided that she should also join in to cure some of her stress.

'Just gotta wait for some time until I can start the plan.'

'For now, I'll just kill some time here...' Sarah thought as she started chatting with the women alongside the laughing Emma.

Soon night came along and all of the women talked with the men as they ate food in the canteen alongside them.

The military camp enjoyed themselves as most of the women took some men with them into their tents with moans being heard at uncertain times.

Sarah walked alongside a blushing Emma as they walked through a few of these moaning tents and arrived at Emma's sleeping quarters.

"G-goodbye big sis. Hope to see you tomorrow morning." Emma said in a high-pitched voice as she stiffly waved Sarah goodbye.

Sarah saw Emma's stiffness and knew why that was the case.

"Sorry leaving you like this Emma. But your big sis needs some rest too." Sarah said with a bitter smile.

She moved closer to Emma's ears as she whispered some sweet words.

"Even though I said no today, doesn't mean I'll say no tomorrow~," Sarah said as some mischief could be heard in her voice.

"N-no, it's fine. I wouldn't want to leave big sis tired today. I'll think about another time." Emma said as her blush intensified to Sarah.

Sarah giggled as she walked away and waved goodbye.

She walked through two quiet tents that looked like an alleyway as she saw her tent right before her.

But little did she know a shadow was following her this entire time...
