Chapter 6: What A Relief

Later that day Carl came back home to see his House's door open and was curious why since he knew his Dad was suppose to be at work, so walked upstairs to his Dad's room only to see his Dad lying down on the floor and quickly goes to him
Carl: Dad! Dad!! Dad!!!(tapping and shaking him)Dad what's wrong (brings out his phone and calls 911) don't die on me old man
The next day,wakes up late and starts preparing for school not long his Mom called out to him
Mom: Tyrone come downstairs breakfast is ready (dropping his food on the table)
Tyrone: coming mom,just give me a sec(quickly tries to wear his pants and falls doing so) ouch (stands up and wears his trouser and sneakers carries his school bag and rushes downstairs)
meanwhile Carl had rushed his Dad to the hospital because he passed out last night but forgot his cellphone at home so couldn't call Tyrone
(At Tyrone's house)
Tyrone comes down dressed for school takes a pancake and was about to leave
Mom: Seems like you found your necklace
Tyrone: (pause and turns) yes mom I did
Mom: that's Good just be careful next time so you won't loose it againt
Tyrone: sure I will(smiles) bye mom (and leaves the house)
But when he came out was surprised his ride wasn't there so he called Carl which he didn't answer so Tyrone decided to take a taxi to school hoping Carl must have gone to school after waiting for him but on reaching to class he didn't see him so he tried Carl's number again but he didn't pick up and become worried so he looked for kristine and sees her at the library
Tyrone: (in a low tone) hey hey (waving his hand)
Kristine: (turns and looks at Tyrone)
Tyrone: (tells her to come with his hand)
Kristine: (quietly walks towards Tyrone to avoid making a noise) what?
Tyrone: have you seen Carl?
Kristine: you haven't heard
Tyrone: heard what?
Kristine: Carl didn't come to school today heard his Dad was taken to the hospital
Tyrone: (was shocked and quickly runs off)
Kristine: where are you going to?
Tyrone: I have to find him(still running towards the exit)
Kristine: (shouts it)But what about our...(reduces her tone when Tyrone left the door) date
But Tyrone couldn't hear it since he had already ran off,on reaching Carl's house he couldn't find Carl so he saw one of his neighbors and asks him
Tyrone: hello sir,am looking for the residents of this house (pointing at Carl's place)
neighbor: oh yea didn't quite understand but one of them was taken to the hospital last night
Tyrone: please sir could you remember which hospital it was
neighbor: Hmm(touching his jaw),I think it was troy community hospital yeah that's it
Tyrone: (talking to himself) hold on that's my Mom's hospital,(talking to the man) thank you sir
Tyrone quickly runs to the hospital where Carl's Dad was admitted
