Chance to be Among the Buried. (2/3.)

The night was peaceful. One of the best nights of sleep I had in a while since I've been summoned into this world. Even Sivath looked like she had a decent night of rest as I found her wrapped in a ball in my lap.

It even looked like she went out to hunt in the middle of the night as there was a bloody and mangled corpse of what looked like a deer, but it seemed to be a carnivorous type of deer as its teeth looked sharp.

"Seems as if you had a good night." I smiled weakly as I looked at the small pool of blood that I was currently sitting in. "Come on, it's time to get up."

I started to stand as Sivath didn't want to move as she just plopped into the small pool of blood which quickly woke her up. She even let out a low angry sounding hiss as she turned to look up at me.

I could only smile as I told her that I tried to get her up earlier but didn't. Sivath still let out a low and angry hiss as she started to wander off into the forest. I could only smile as I headed over to the water to clean myself and wash away the blood.

The water was cold which helped to awaken me further as it was a nice shock to the system. Some of the fish seemed to even be attracted to the blood as they started to swarm around me.

I didn't think anything of it until I felt one of the fish try to latch onto my leg. "Well, I guess I shouldn't wash myself with blood in the pond." I brushed off the fish as I continued to clean myself.

BAM!! BAM!! BAM!!

I had only taken two steps out of the pond as three loud banging noises sounded out.

"Well someone must be here."

The banging continued as I took my time and looked through my Inventory for any spare clothes, but the only thing I could find was the armor of the Red Boar Riders.

A weak smile formed on my face as I focused on the only two complete pairs of armors as it looked like I wasn't going to be able to wear them. I just shook my head as I grabbed my still wet clothes as I went to go and see just who was making all that noise.

Sivath seemed to follow after me as I started to leave the mini-forest. There was even fresh blood that seemed to be around her face.

The banging continued to get louder as I neared the front door, but to my surprise it didn't seem as the source of where the banging was coming from. Ulrich even seemed to be missing as I couldn't even feel or notice a trace of him in the Manor.

"Well luckily the gate will be able to withstand the continuous banging, but if there is one noticeable dent on my gate." I smiled as I noticed that it was going to be a nice and bright day. "Hope that they can afford to replace it. Let's go see who are, rude guests are huh, Sivath."

I leisurely closed the door as I enjoyed my walk to the gate. Even stopped by some of the trees that were left standing as I noticed that some of them were growing fruits. Some of them even looked familiar.

The speed of the banging seemed to increase as it seemed that whoever was banging was starting to get impatient which made my smile widen as I my pace slowed down further as I truly looked at the territory or what would soon become my Hallowed Grounds.

But there was one thought that never left the forefront of my mind.

"Whoever they are, they're strong. Still this is my place of residence, one should still be respectful." I smiled and started to lower it to a smirk as it looked as the one who was banging got tired as it stop before a very loud and familiar sounding voice yelled out.

"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE YOU LOW-LIFE GRAVE DIGGER!!! OPEN THIS DAMN GATE NOW AND I PROMISE TO NOT BREAK YOUR LEGS!!!"

After a couple of seconds of silence, I let out a laugh as I responded to Walter.

"Why would I open my gate to someone who would threaten to break my legs!? I was going to before but not now! So whoever you are please go and don't bother me ever again! Let's go Sivath, it seems that someone needs to take a chill pill."

Sivath nodded her head as she released a hiss which made my smile widen. I even let out a genuine laugh which Walter didn't seem to like as he started pounding on the doors like someone who wanted to really break a door.

Walter even went as far as to kill everything and everyone that I ever loved or cared for.

Sivath seemed to understand or feel the killing intent from what Walter said as she turned to face the door and released a noise or sound that sounded like a demonic hiss.

I even tried to help Sivath calm down, but I had to quickly pull my hand back as she turned and almost took my hand. She was angry, very angry. I even noticed how her compound eyes seemed more feral as she quickly left my shoulder and started heading to the gate.

"Well I guess it's rude to leave a guest waiting." I sighed as I started to head to the gate as I interrupted Walter as he took a small breather.

"Really hope you're able to satisfy my anger for breaking my door asshole! Also stop banging on my door and throwing a tantrum like a child, so I can open the damn door!"

Walter seemed to be silent but I had a feeling he was going to say something before I told him to hold his damn tongue as I reminded him if he could satisfy Livinas anger if he kept her from doing what she needed to do.

It went silent. I could even hear Livina laughing in the background. I shook my head as I started to open the gate as I gave a quick look for Sivath as I found her slowly crawling down the and blended in its shadows.

'Looks like she's going to try and attack the one or probably the one she thinks threatened her.' I shook my head mentally as I looked at a familiar carriage, but with an increased amount of guards.

The entire procession waited until the gate was fully opened before they charged in! They even went as far as to surround and encircle me. But my attention was more focused on the carriage that hadn't moved even though the gate was fully opened.

The encirclement seemed to notice that I wasn't paying attention to them as they started to make the encirclement smaller trying to make me focus on them.

My focus didn't change as I continued to look at the carriage with a slight smile on my face.

"Alright, that's enough. He's obviously not scared Walter, stop your childish tricks."

A clear and familiar voice sounded out as everyone, but one person seemed to stand out from the synchronized order. Even going as far as to want to go against the order, but couldn't as his horse seemed to drop.

"You are lucky I need you to be alive for what comes next Walter. If not, you would have joined that poor horse." Livina spoke in a commanding tone as she appeared next to Walter with both of her blades across Walter's neck.
