Before the Party.

"Don't tell me I've been out for an entire week?" I asked as Livina nodded her head with a smile on her face.

"Your Trail of Demons lasted just as long as mine did. Which means you and Sivath reached a high compatibility level. What was the ratio you remember when you were being eaten?" Livina asked as she pulled something out of an icy blue flame and handed it to me.

"Drink. It'll help you recover the nutrients you lost."

I smiled weakly as I accepted an icy cold green looking potion and drank the entire thing.

Strange thing was, it wasn't cold going down. If anything it tasted sweet, with a sour apple taste at the end.

I released a satisfied sigh as I felt my body start to shiver. "That was a lot better than the potion Ulrich once gave me. And to answer your question, Sivath. It was all Sivath, she even had a very happy expression on her face though. So how much longer til Siegbalds party?"

I asked Livina as I started to stand and stretch as my body started popping very loudly.

"Don't worry, we still have plenty of time to get ready for the party. Also I have to ask. Who's Vlada?" Livina smiled as she asked in a commanding yet curious tone.

I continued to stretch as a small and soft smile formed on my face. Livina didn't seem to mind as she waited until I finished.

"Vlada. Where did you hear that name?" I asked as I realized that I was still at the entrance to my own gate. "And when will I be able to talk to Sivath?"

I just kissed my teeth, shook my head, and sighed as I started to head back to my Manor. Livina seemed to laugh a little as she explained that it was because of Sivath that she wasn't able to. Even went on to explain that Ulrich tried with his technique and failed.

"Even Ulrich's technique failed?" I asked with surprise. "How's that possible, from what I know his technique should have been easily able to move me. Just what aren't you telling me?"

Livina seemed to go quiet but spoke up as she went on to explain what happened throughout my entire Trail of Demons. Which wasn't all that exciting unless you count the sound of your bones breaking, snapping, or twisting along with your muscles and tendons doing the same.

"You even kept calling out to Vlada throughout your Trail of Demons. And everytime you did there would be a rumbling in the sky that kept getting louder and louder the more you called. And as far as not being able to not move you that would be something I would have to ask his Royal Highness The Crown Prince, because I do not have an answer at the moment."

'Why does this Otherworld seem to enjoy breaking people's bones so much?' I sighed mentally as I let out a light laugh as I started to near my Manor.

"Vlada is someone you don't want to be on the bad side of. Ask your King, oh wait you can't he's crippled currently." I smiled as I opened the door and turned to see a look of shock on Livina's face before it turned serious. "What?"

"What are you talking about!? The King was attacked by a powerful Elder that was invited by the three other Kingdoms!" Livina asked as she drew her blades and placed them on my throat.

I frowned as I looked at Livinas blades, then to her eyes.

"This is the third time you've placed your blades to my throat. Next time just ask, I don't like sharp things to be placed on my neck. Your King tried to do something and got punished for it, that's all. You shouldn't listen to everything the Kingdom tells you." I answered as I took a step back and into my Manor and pointed to my left.

"If you want you can wait in the welcoming area, I have to go and clean myself, oh and if you are able to find or sense Ulrich anywhere near the top floor please throw him… far I don't really care. Just away from the top floor."

Livina didn't say anything, but I did hear her sheathe her blades as she headed out to the welcoming area.

I just headed to the fishing spot in the mini-forest to quickly clean myself. I quickly started to strip and started to head to the water but just as I was about to dive in I stopped.

"Well that's new, the red in my eyes deepened and increased a little." I said aloud as I seemed to notice that my muscles seemed to be more dense. Luckily my hair didn't change color to something wild as it was still brown.

I could only smile as I shook my head and dove into the water and cleaned myself.

'Never thought that I would be in a situation like this. I mean I'm just a Grave Digger, yet it seems as if my fate in this Otherworld is to be more than just a Grave Digger.' I said in my mind as I just started to float. 'I wonder which other Baron is going to act like they are the top Baron.'

I continued to float for a little while before I sunk into the water.

I just continued to let my body sink to do a quick test to see how much my power increased. I continued to slowly sink to the bottom of the pond and lay there until I needed to breathe.

"Sorry for the wait, it seems as if sleeping in the same spot for a week outside is not a good thing. So when do we leave for the party, I have a few things I wish to discuss with Siegbald as his Grave Digger."

I smiled as I walked into the welcoming area as it seemed as Livina seemed to be holding Ulrich by the scruff of his robe, while he was holding onto Livinas arm for dear life.

"Bastion, please tell the Arch-Duke's daughter to release me!" Ulrich yelled out as I just continued to stand with my hands behind my back. "Don't just stand there, tell her to release me! She said she would throw me very far, I don't like to fly!"

Ulrich continued to scream as tears started to flow down his face.

I have to say, seeing Ulrich cry was one of the most… disturbing things I had ever seen and I've buried corpses for a living.

"Oh, shut up you lying old man. I caught you trying to break into his room, you're just mad that you got caught. And also let go of my arm, I can't kill you because you happen to be the special guest invite otherwise I would have." Livina smiled as she seemed to be playing with five icy blue looking orbs between her fingers.

The whole atmosphere seemed to be chaotic as Livina and Ulrich continued to argue between one another. Until a voice I hadn't heard in a while sounded from behind me.

"Uh, Sir… it's me. The Blind Driver. I'm just wondering if you're ready to leave? Otherwise if we don't leave now we will be late."
