Pink was left alone in the dining room, she sat on the couch. She took a deep pained breath and closed her eyes, resting her head on her knees. "It's all my fault, I made my daughter this way. How do I fix this "? Pink mumbled feeling guilty.

Mike narrowed his eyes when he saw his mother crying. " Mom, what happened here, why are you crying? " Mike asked as he walked toward his mother.

Pink averted her gaze, not wanting to look at her son's eyes, guilt was now eating her up " I've ruined your sister's life, and now she doesn't want to find any job, she wants to take away everything that belongs to Melody " Pink said in a cracking voice, she bites her lips trying to stop her tears.

Mike shook his head, hearing what his mother just said, he sat next to his mother on the couch" Mom, don't say such a thing, it's not your fault that she turned out this way, it's her choice, please don't cry because of her " Mike said Hugging his mother.

Pink did not know what to say, she opened her mouth and closed it because words could not come out of her mouth.

Melody and Brian finished drinking their coffee.

" I think I should go now, Miss Brown, it was nice meeting you," Brian said smiling.

Melody chuckled, she was so relaxed in front of Brian, she did not know why, but she did not want to part with him. " It was nice chatting with you Mr. Williams, looking forward to chatting with you again " Melody smiled.

Brian parted his lips slightly, looking at Melody stiffly" You mean to say, you want to have a cup of coffee with me again in the future," Brian impatiently waited for her reply.

Melody nodded her head with a smile" why not, my son likes you, after all, I don't mind meeting with you " Melody said.

Brian's eyes twinkled with so much joy, he was happy that Melody did not hate him.

Brian smiled looking at Melody's embarrassing facial expressions.

" I don't mind too, Miss Brown, we shall meet again," Brian said with a smile, only God knows how happy he was.

"Bye Mr. Williams, we shall meet again," Melody said as she stood up. Brian stood up.

" That's my business card, call me if you need anything. I'm always happy to help, " Brian said with a smile.

Melody looked at Brian with soft eyes, filled with an inner glow. She took the card from his hand " Thank you, I will make sure to give you a call if I need any help. it was nice meeting you " Melody said as she gave him a hand to shake, Brian did the same, and both of them shook hands. When Melody touched Brian's hand she felt the sensation of being flooded with warmth, and without her knowing her cheeks turned red.

Brian was like a child in a candy store. His happiness knew no boundaries, he never thought Melody would like her after 5 years, and he felt his muscles tightening with joy.

" Have a nice trip " Melody said, breaking the hand sake.

Brian grinned " Until we meet again," Brian said and walked away.

It was already afternoon, when Brian reached the house, he got out of the car and went inside the house, only to find the Councilor in the sitting room, he frowned, when he saw his family members were also present.

" What are you all doing here," Brian asked coldly.

Bruno had an evil smirk on his face " We all came here to fix a wedding date " he said.

Brian narrowed his eyes with a pitched expression looking at Bruno, who did not care about his deadly glare " What wedding are you talking about,? I'm not gonna marry this daughter of yours I love someone else " Brian said, taking a seat on the couch.

Everyone who was in the room froze in place.

Liam looked at his son with a cold gaze " What are you saying? it is too late for you to love someone else, you are the future king, and you should think of your people first, hence, you are getting married next week and that's final " he said

Patricia stared at Brian with a pained gaze, she loved him, but he only found a way to break her heart into pieces.

Naina was angry as a bull, she ran her hands through her hair, trying to calm herself down " My son will marry whomever he wants, and don't you forget that Patrica is not his soul mate, why would you force him to marry her? "she said with a strained voice.

Bruno crossed his arm in front of his chest, with a smirk on his face. " Women should always shut their mouth when men are talking, " he said.

Nina stared at Bruno with a cold gaze, she curled her lips up, still gazing at Bruno" Mr, don't you forget where you are right now, in my own house, don't you dare tell me that nonsense I'm not a fool like your wife " Naina said, she did not care about all the pathetic councillor.

Bruno slammed his hand on the table and threw all the glasses of water on the floor. He felt naked, being humiliated by a woman. " How dare you say that to me, " Bruno asked, fuming in anger.

Naina's grin stretched ear to ear, she was feeling much better, seeing Bruno this angry " You should remember your place Mr. Know all of you, get out of my house right now, if you want a meeting, there's a board room, don't come to my house talking nonsense, out! '' Naina said, she was so angry.

The council's members had no choice but to leave the house, they knew this was not a good place to talk.

Liam felt overheated in anger, his eyes cold like he was going to murder someone on the spot " Naina! have you lost it, why did you do that?" Liam asked if he was shivering in anger.

Naina raised her eyebrows and gave her husband a glassy stare " Liam if you are confused, don't try to confuse us all. Brian is my son, I will not let you force him into anything he does not want to " Naina said.

Liam ran his hand through his hair looking at his wife" the date is set, on Friday everyone gets ready " Liam said.

Brian paused looking at his father for a few minutes" I'm not going there " Brian said his eyes with no emotions walked upstairs to his room.
