Chapter 30 Chaotic Family dinner

Melody walked to the room, which she slept in the other day she came to Brian's house, and luckily she never forgot the way that heads to the room. Mimmy raised her eyebrows looking at Melody's sour mood, she was hesitant to ask but she asked anyway knowing that curiosity killed a cat. " Melody, is everything alright? " She asked softly. Everyone lost their appetite and they all went to their own room, they did not need food anyway they were all vampires except for Mommy and Melody.

Melody ran out of the house, tears streaming down her face as she made her way to the garden. She stumbled to the nearby bench and collapsed onto it, her body wracked with sobs. Every time Brian came around she seemed to like her heart was just ripped out of her chest. Why couldn't he just get married to someone who truly loved him and leave her alone? Why couldn't he let her live in peace?

Brian slowly walked towards Melody, his heart-shattering piece by piece as he watched her cry. He had never wanted to make her cry, and he wanted what was best for all of them. He loved her so deeply that his heart ached to see her in such pain. If only she knew how much his heart was aching at that moment, he thought to himself, she wouldn't have rejected him with such finality.

Reaching the bench where she was, he sat next to her.
