The cold night breeze blew softly, flitting over the surface of her skin and it felt nice. Yejeong took in the longest breath she had taken in the entirety of her life and released the heavy sigh that had been sitting numbly on her shoulders. What was wrong? She wanted to ask herself but she knew the answer even as she formed the question itself. Everything was wrong. Just everything. Ten years ago, she had dreamt of something totally different. She would be twenty five and she would be with the love of her life, content with a 3.5 family– one kid and a dog. Her own mother would be jealous of the life she had built herself. She would have proved everyone wrong. She was deserving of a loving relationship too.
Unlike a certain somebody who would constantly beat in the idea that she was not.
