My plan is perfect

Ling only managed to sleep for a couple of hours.

Given Jiang Wei's condition, the young man assumed that his boss would not have been able to make it home on his own.

"It can't be that..."

Ling went downstairs and went outside. In the yard under a juniper tree sat Li Guang, even drunker than his friend.

"Holy shit!" rolled Ling's eyes.

He approached the man and tried to bring him to his senses, but he was dead drunk.

"And they said I couldn't drink. Somebody outdid everybody here," grumbled the young man, trying to lift the unruly body off the ground.

"Mmm," the body mooed and hung onto Ling.

"Christ, I'm going to die tonight," panted Ling dragging Li Guan into the house.

First, he led him to the couch and sat him down.

"Drunk as dead is equally heavy," Ling concluded.

He glanced at the man and decided not to bother with him. Tipping him onto the couch, Ling removed his boots, unbuttoned his collar, and covered him with a blanket. After making sure the body didn't move or fall off, he decided to go check on Jiang Wei.

It was quiet on the second floor. The bathroom light was on, but no one was washing. Ling made his way to the bedroom and tripped over a body on the floor.

"Fuck you!" he cursed, grabbing the wall. Gradually his eyes got used to the darkness, and he was able to distinguish Jiang Wei on the floor. The boss didn't bother with clothes and slept in pristine condition.

Ling stood over him and didn't know whether to shelter him on the floor or drag him to the bed. Glancing at his watch, the young man noted in surprise that it was already the beginning of five in the morning.

He would have left the chief right there, but he imagined waking up in the morning to find himself like this on the floor and yelling at the whole house.

"No, not good," thought Ling, and walked over to the bed and threw back the blanket. Then he pushed up and dragged Jiang Wei to the bed. He collapsed with his boss from fatigue and overexertion, and lay across him for a while, regaining his strength and breath. Then he got up and turned him along the bed.

After thinking again, he decided to look for some underwear for Wey. Rummaging through the closet, he found what he was looking for, and with a deft movement, he covered Jiang Wei's dignity. Finally, the drunkard was brought to bed, too, covered and safe.

Shi Ling went downstairs, drank some water, and went to rest in the study. Sliding two chairs together, covering himself with plaid, the young man bowed his head and dozed off. As soon as the sun's rays penetrated the window, they immediately attacked the ex-secretary, pulling him from the embrace of Morpheus.

Ling stretched, feeling every muscle ache. He wanted to soak in the warm water and thus regain his strength.

While everyone was still asleep, he snuck into the tub and plunged into the blissful warmth. He even dozed off a little, but dove under the water and instantly woke up. Hastily wiping off the drops of water and putting on his usual clothes, Ling went down to the kitchen.

He put a ladle of water on the fire and started to make hangover soup. Fortunately, there was enough; the housekeeper regularly checked the contents of the refrigerator and took care of the quality of the food.

The aroma of breakfast wafted through the house. Ling cooked rice and eggs for himself. Some noises were heard from the second floor. The master of the house woke up and, bumping into the walls, walked toward the smell from the kitchen. From the side of the couch, someone was moaning. It turned out the sun was shining directly into Li Guang's eyes, and it infinitely aggravated his already severe headache.

Jiang Wei spared his guests' eyes after all and came down in his robe. Li Guang slept in his clothes, so he had a decent, though wrinkled appearance. He was coughing a little, perhaps the effect of sitting outdoors.

Shi Ling had thoughtfully prepared warm tea with ginger and lemon. They sat down at the table and silently started to eat. The hangover soup was an abomination, and they cringed at the taste of it.

"Gentlemen drunks, bon appétit," Shi Ling teased them. After dragging them around half the night, he felt he had a right to be sarcastic.

Jiang Wei propped his cheek with his hand and turned to Li Guang.

"You beast, Guan, what filth did you give me last night?" - he muttered.

"Mmm," smirked Guan, "as if I had an abundance of choice," you better tell me why the hell you dragged me to your place in the middle of the night, we were sitting fine.

"He wrote that he came," Jiang Wei stretched out meaningfully as if he had said something very important.

"That guy?" seconded Guan.

"Mm-hmm," nodded Jiang Wei, pouring a spoonful of soup into his mouth.

"Will you introduce us?" asked Guan conspiratorially.

"Later, my friend, you're not ready yet," summed up the boss.

"I'm here, aren't you awake yet?" Ling thought eyes wide. "They're hopeless."

Something, however, did not escape Shi Ling's attention. He noticed that the relationship between his boss and Guan was exceptionally friendly. When he finished eating, he washed the dishes, folded the couch, and made the room look decent.

Wiping off the droplets of sweat, he listened: Jiang Wei and Li Guang were sitting in the office talking quietly. Shi Ling didn't know what to do and felt superfluous. Chasing those thoughts away, he opened the refrigerator and figured out what to make for lunch.

"I'm telling you this is a set-up!" shouted Li Guang.

"You always have someone to blame, not you," replied Jiang Wei, "calm down already, and don't talk nonsense.

"Please come with me to my mansion, I'll treat you to the best wine I can find," Li Guang changed tactics.

"I've been babysitting you for two days, you're an adult. Solve your problems on your own. Besides, you have the support of your family. I'll call you a car right now and please leave."

Li Guang did not respond, instead, there was a clinking of glass. Shi Ling rushed into the office and saw a young man with eyes burning with anger. He threw his glass to the floor, and shards scattered all over the room.

Jiang Wei also stood there clenching his fists. Shi Ling returned with a broom and a dustpan. While the men glared at each other, Ling removed the glass. They would have kept staring at each other if Shi Ling hadn't jerked his hand away sharply. A trickle of blood ran down his wrist.

"Ling!" rushed Jiang Wei to him with a frown.

"It's all right, I'll rinse, watch out for the glass," calmly replied the young man and left the room.

"Wait, I'll help you," the boss caught up with him. Finally, he looked reproachfully at Guan and told him quietly, "Go home."

The wound was quite deep and had to be covered with plaster and bandaged. Ling looked at his hand and wondered how he would make dinner now. As if reading his mind, Jiang Wei told him:

"Let's grab a bite to eat in town later; I need to pay a visit to the company. Will you come with me?"

"Okay," the young man nodded. He even smiled and went downstairs. Guan left them alone and Ling could finally relax. He hadn't slept at all and felt tired.

Sitting on the couch, the young man switched channels until Jiang Wei sat down next to him. Soon Ling's eyes began to slip and he dropped his head on his boss's shoulder.

So they sat there. Jiang Wei hardly breathed so as not to disturb the young man's sleep. He turned his head and inhaled the scent of his hair. "Very pleasant," thought Jiang Wei, and with his free hand, he stroked Ling's hair and felt a slight electric shock. "Sparks," grinned Jiang Wei.

Yesterday, when he got the message from Ling, he immediately called for a car. It was jerk Guan who followed him, and who knows what state they came home in. They may have behaved terribly and had a lot to be blamed for. But this boy isn't going to say anything.

"He looks so tired, probably because of us. I hardly went to bed myself," reflected Jiang Wei, "it's a good thing I didn't molest him yet."

These thoughts sent a fever into his head. Jiang Wei fidgeted and Ling slid down on his lap. The man stared at his aide in amazement, expecting him to wake up now, but Ling just put his palm under his cheek.

He looked so sweet and homely in his sleep. Jiang Wei suddenly realized that he was determined to kiss Ling. That thought drilled into him again and again. He kept convincing himself that the young man wouldn't mind, that he was interested in him and a kiss wouldn't hurt their relationship.

When Ling finally opened his eyes, it was two in the afternoon. He heard his stomach rumbling, not his own, but his boss's. Ling jumped up, his left cheek red. He rubbed his cheek and found a trickle of saliva dripping from the corner of his mouth. "It's embarrassing," thought Ling in his heart and looked guiltily at the chief.

Jiang Wei moved closer and lifted the young man's chin and kissed him gently. Still sleepy and warm, Ling flinched at the intimate touch and stared at the man with a mute question. The man tilted his head to his side and decided to explain to the young man what was going on. Jiang Wei again fell to Ling's lips and, meeting no fierce resistance, enclosed the young man in a warm embrace.

They were in no hurry to go anywhere as if they had discovered a magical world. They moved slowly forward, tasting each other, tilting and turning their heads, squeezing each other in their arms. Ling's lips were swollen and a little itchy when Jiang Wei finally pulled away from him.

"I'm serious about you," the chief breathed into his ear, which made Ling relax. The pleasurable sensation was still throbbing in his body. "And I'd eat you right here and now, but I'm only that crazy when I'm drugged," Jiang Wei said bluntly.

The young man raised his eyebrows in surprise and sighed instead of answering.

"Let's progress gradually?" the boss suggested and clarified, "For example, now we can kiss each other anytime we want, okay?"

"Okay," embarrassed Ling.

Satisfied with him, Jiang Wei rubbed his hands together and suggested that we hurry off to lunch. The men left the house and drove downtown. Fortunately, their relationship turned out to be quite harmonious. They had a great time together, sampling each other's food, cracking jokes, and making plans.

After lunch, Jiang Wei went to the company. He arranged a temporary pass for Ling and went up to the top floor with him. The reception area was empty, so the men entered the office unobstructed, but when they heard a voice, they stopped.

In Jiang Wei's chair sat Lu Fei who spoke in an angry voice over the phone.

"You've wasted so much time and found nothing? I gave you all the trump cards, why is the connection between Jiang Wei and Ambassador Shu not proven? That moron even drugged him and made him look like a laughing stock, and you're the prosecutor's office or the street's no-good losers?! What the hell? My plan is perfect."
