JAGI PART 5
"What?!! Hahaha".
Kay couldn't stop laughing. To him, it was the most hilarious thing he had heard all day but Yu Lei wasn't liking it at all.
"That's it, I'm out of here".
Kay was still trying to stop the laughter that was coming out of his mouth but it just wouldn't stop Lu Jinho on the other hand was trying to calm Yu Lei down.
"Wait, why is he so serious, are you guys for real?"
"Was I smiling when I said it?"
"Are you trying to say that he is attracted to animals?"
"I'm not! Why do you joke about every fucking thing?"
"I'm not joking about this dude I'm dead serious it's actually a medical condition and it's called...."
"I don't care what it's called!! I'm out of here".
He said and slammed the door shut. On his way, he saw the very person or thing he was trying to avoid.
"Jagi".
He said in a very low voice.
'I can't see her right now. No, it doesn't feel right I don't feel right'.
He said and walked away leaving her alone in the hallway.
"What the fuck is wrong with you Kay? Aren't you supposed to be a doctor?"
"Why are you getting mad at me? I was doing exactly what a doctor is supposed to do!"
"As his friend, I'm really surprised you didn't notice he was completely out of it. He is fucking confused and you just made it worse".
After saying that, he walked out of the room in hopes of finding Yu Lei. When he got out, he also saw Jagi but he did not ignore her instead he walked up to her patted her on the head, and left. In a way, that encouraged Jagi a little bit.
Lu Jinho didn't go too far before he saw Yu Lei sitting on the stairs. He went over and sat beside him.
"He's right Jinho. How can I be so stupid to be attracted to a fucking animal? Probably explains why I've never been interested in any lady before".
"Is that what you want to believe?"
"What am I suppose to believe huh? That this is normal? You and I both know it isn't".
"When did you start feeling this way?"
They both turned around to see who was speaking. It was Kay and obviously, Yu Lei wasn't ready to talk to him right now.
"Look, I'm sorry I didn't listen. Come on, you both have been my friends for years now. You both know I can be very unserious at times but I'm here now and I think I can help somehow".
They both looked at him as though they were going to rip him apart but of course, their friendship is way better than that.
In the Lu's mansion, Kali was having a really bad nightmare, she woke up in fear and immediately, she went to Shin Suri's room but she wasn't there so she knelt and began crying but before she knew it, she was in her mom's room.
"What's wrong darling?"
"Mom? Mom!".
She ran and hugged her.
"Mummy, I'm so scared".
"Why?"
"Someone is about to die! I've seen this before. I don't want her to die mom".
She said and began crying even harder. When her mom held her hand, she saw exactly what she saw and she knew there and then that she had to do whatever it takes to stop that from happening.
"No Kali, we can't let that happen. We can't lose her, not again".
Kali looked at her mom with tears in her eyes.
"What do you mean mom?"
"I'll explain soon but for now, we have to save her no matter what".
After a while, the three men arrived at Kay's office again. This time around, the atmosphere was serious but calm and comfortable.
"So, I'm going to be asking a few questions, don't get offended and rip me apart please".
"You better ask reasonable questions".
Kay sighed and started asking his questions.
"So, have you ever had a pet?"
"Once".
"What was it?"
"A dog".
"Okay...what happened to it?"
"She died".
"Annnnd how did you feel? When she died I mean".
"I missed her for a while because she was my only companion back then but that was it".
"No deep feelings whatsoever?"
Yu Lei gave him a killer look.
"Wow, wow, wow. Come on, I need to kno..."
"No!! I've never felt this way okay, I even went to the zoo to see if I'd feel the same way toward another tiger but no I felt absolutely nothing".
"Okay, that's good. So tell me, when did you begin to feel this way toward her?"
Yu Lei began thinking about when exactly it was that he began feeling this way and suddenly, it clicked.
"When she turned! When she became completely black".
"That's it! To be honest guys, I know this might sound crazy but I don't think Jagi is an animal. At least she's not a normal one".
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean...."
"Ahhh!!!"
They suddenly heard a scream from outside and Kay ran out to check while the others followed. Suddenly, they saw some men in black suits gathered around someone.
"What do you want with her? You can't take her away from me".
"Isn't that Joo Ah's voice?"
They ran towards them and found their way to Joo Ah and Jagi. Unfortunately, Jagi was injured. It appears that the men were ready to take her no matter what. They wanted her dead or alive.
"What is the meaning of this Kay? You promised she wouldn't be harmed, you said she wasn't a lab rat!".
One of the men came forward.
"It has been anonymously reported that that thing can talk and it has a human system. She needs to be experimented on".
"NO!! She is not that thing and you'll never take her!"
"Calm down Joo Ah, let me handle this".
"No!"
Joo Ah looked at him with bloodshot eyes. It was obvious she would kill anyone who came close to Jagi. Kay turned around to the men.
"What rights do you have?"
"Straight from the government. Mr. Damil, you are required to step aside and let us do our job".
When they turned around to see the bleeding tiger, she was nowhere to be found and neither was Yu Lei.
"Catch her! I don't care how you do it but find her. Now!!"
