Chapter 0094. The Girl In The Mall

After having a healthy meeting with my family and giving them gifts, I gave mom money to buy the house she was currently renting. As far as money was concerned, it should be priced a bit below $300,000.

Due to the current value of Salt Lake County and everything else, even this small 1 BHK apartment costs that much money. I had transferred $400,000 to her account, and unlike last time, this time she didn't refuse the money.

It was like last time she was worried that I had a stroke of luck and that I shouldn't be wasting the money that I had gotten, but this time around, she was really happy and agreed to take in the money. After all, she was already getting wrinkles and was continuously stressed about many things, having her own apartment would lift a lot of burden off of her.
