Seth sat in his room after the entire ordeal.
'Ahh, feels good to be finally alone.'
Meeting the three brothers turned out to be a good thing, despite his initial thoughts about them. They were so helpful and assisted him in registering the success of his mission.
Seth went to the corner of his room and dragged his bag out. Taking it to his bed, he unloaded the content on the mattress.
'..There it is!' Seth grabbed a cold metal card. The card had curved edges and the inscriptions on it were superb!
Seth read some of the words. 'Rhazien, the adventurer. Vampire. F-Rank.'
With this card, he could get into most towns without any technical issue. All he needed to do was show his card to the guards, and they would let him enter.
'Hmmm… should I return this bag? The guild didn't tell me to return it. Anyway, now I have enough coins to last a week. Every day, I should hunt howlers and sell their materials for extra coins. That way, I can survive day by day.'
But Seth wanted more than that. He had returned the weapons he used to the guild. He needed to buy his own set of weapons and armor.
Seth figured that he should save his money for about a week, then search for a nice light outfit and weapon. Until then, he had to fight with his bare hands, which was just horrible!
'Hmmm…it is here!'

✱'First Time' completed. Reward➔ 20 Lunar Ryi-Bronze Coins. Hunting Codex. Tome of Wisdom(Chapter One)
╝
'Finally. Something good.'
Only the bag of coins materialized in his hand. The other rewards appeared as translucent panels in his view.
Looking at his left, he saw the Hunting Codex. It was a bunch of pages filled with vivid descriptions of dangerous creatures and fiends. It also listed their weaknesses.
Meanwhile, on his right was the Tome of Wisdom. A more helpful reward than the previous one. The tome identified the various pieces of knowledge that would help him navigate the world of Lycroft. It was interesting how some things highlighted were stuff he had to learn the hard way, like the bad adventurers!
After checking the rewards, Seth moved on to the next thing on his mind.
'My vampire abilities. I need to learn them so I can gain an early advantage. Tomorrow, I will buy a snake!' Seth decided.
As for [Prism Negativa], Seth had to find a special crystal. The only ones available in Lostvale were mostly healing crystals. He didn't need those. He already had an insane regenerative factor.
What Seth needed was a unique crystal in the Reflecting Forest. This crystal was said to possess mana defiant qualities. The best of them could even redirect mana attacks!
Once he has this special crystal, he won't be scared of fighting mages!
'Anyway, the Reflecting Forest is dangerous. Going there will be suicide. I need to become stronger before I enter the forest.'
On the topic of getting stronger, Seth noticed that his most recent fight brought an increase of strength.

From what the system revealed to him, every level up granted him two points that would be divided, in allocations, across his hard stats. While his soft stats grew by only one point.
So, increasing by two levels didn't provide any significant difference. It was quite disappointing in his opinion, but Seth made peace with that.
'Now that I'm done here. Should I log out?' Seth wondered.
He laid on his bed and thought about this world. Evidently, the world wasn't something he was confident about surviving in. Quite the contrary, the game world terrified him!
But if he stuck to a hard play, he would acquire the strength necessary to survive.
Seth yawned. 'Ahh, I'm sleepy now. I miss my wines.'
Just as he was about to go to sleep, the system released a resplendent series of light that attracted his weary eyes.

"Hmmm… this is f*cking awesome. Now, I don't have to worry about obtaining any passive skills."
Seth hid the bag of coins beside his bed and focused on the three passive skills. They appeared in the form of wooden slates.
Holding one of them, Seth heard the voice of the system.
『Traveller 2.5, do you accept this passive skill?』
"Yes."
『Passive Skill [Farsight] acquired!』
"[Farsight] sounds like a good skill. Now, I'm interested about the other skills. "
Seth immediately grabbed on the second skill!
『Traveller 2.5, do you accept this passive skill?』
"Yes."
『Passive skill [Appraisal] acquired』
Not wasting time, Seth grabbed the last slate.
『Traveller 2.5, do you accept this passive skill?』
"Yes."
『Passive skill [Hydra Claws] acquired』
"This is —"
As soon as the announcement ended, A burst of pain assaulted Seth. It brought him to his knees as he struggled to keep himself from yelling.
His eyes and hands swelled like an infected body part. They became reddish and had multiple spots on them. Seth could feel an unknown energy driving into his body. It ravaged his hands and eye, and before he knew it, the swollen parts exploded into a rain of gooey substances.
Seth rushed to his bathroom and checked his body.
'What?!' He exclaimed as he spotted something strange.
His eyes remained the same, but his fingernails were green. It retained its previous length. Yet, an ominous presence surrounded it.
*Shizz!*
A black liquid dropped from his fingers. It landed on his skin and burrowed deep into it with sizzling sounds.
Seth watched as his skin healed not long after but the pain remained there.
"What the f*ck just happened? Since when could I do that?!"
