The ground beneath him shifted and twisted, but he kept his footing, his focus unyielding.

As the battle raged on, things became even more dangerous. Sometimes, the entire world was upside down. It was as if reality itself was being warped, fooling his mind into subconsciously reacting. 

With each swing of his sword, he shattered the illusions, piece by piece, yet he felt as if he was being toyed with. 

The God of Illusions frowned, his laughter turning into frustrated growls.

But the deity was not one to give up easily. He conjured even more elaborate illusions, distorting Gabriel's perception of reality. 

The world around him morphed and contorted, threatening to overwhelm his senses. Doubt crept into Gabriel's mind, and for a moment, he faltered.
